Yellow rims are an insult. 🤮 Aston owners need to spend more money on a real interior team. The seats are beautiful but the rest is pedestrian, even worse on the DBS. They should also stop the fake backseat nonsense. Make it storage and these would be true GTs. Bentley CGTs are selling above msrp. Somehow I doubt DB11s are. The Bentley interior makes a massive difference. Great review as usual.

Aston Martin stands only for superb exterior designs, very good engine and exhaust sounds and very nice leather inside, the rest is not worth the money what Aston wants for their cars.
it seriously needs better technology, HUD, lights and INFOTAINMENT

OK guys, give me an Aston Martin DB11 painted in Black Diamond - and every Bond villain will be after me in a heartbeat. The DB11 is waay old school, executed with fine details and materials. When an Aston Martin owner wants to drive a contemporary grand tourer, that's what the other seven automobiles in the private garage are for.
It does have some old school character (and the tech to prove it's trapped in a past), but the driving dynamics feel very modern 👍
I love love love Aston's but I wish they would upgrade the interior and tech. It really breaks my heart. lol

Imagine spending $230k on a sports car that doesn't have android auto or apple car play and no heads up display. This car is I'm sure fun to drive but a terrible value, and also no launch control system. I'm dieing.
It would also be so much nicer if this car had a sunroof or at least a glass roof.
You should go and check on people like Shmee, he got all the nice cars but he always uses a phone windshield holder, cars are made to be driven, if you need some apple carplay go buy a corolla.

@@Lionsheartification That's a bad argument , you're paying big bucks for a simple a feauture. The car should come with these things. Even then, you already know that the vehicle is just made to make profit. The interior is way too outdated.
I guess we also don't need parking sensors? Cars are made to be driven but yet it does come with that which is arguably a harder feature to implement than android auto or carplay lol.
For this price better buy Mercedes AMG GT 63 S, or Porsche 911 turbo S

I'd clearly take the Conti GT for luxury and comfort or the Roma for pure driving ! The DB11 is now dated to me

Conti GT doesnt have the driving fun of the V8 DB11, and the Roma doesnt have the comfort. Its the best of both worlds, theres no other sports GT out there like it. And speaking of pure driving, I'd probably go more for a 911 GT3 which smokes the Roma in that regard
Even with this spec being as awful as it is, I dig the DB11. I struggle to see why so many people have a problem with the interior, maybe I'm missing something?

Looks great, drives great, dated interior and infotainment. I mean, those gear buttons are disgusting and so is the display. Door panels rattling? Jesus, even my previous Civic was better built!

There's perhaps a passing resemblance, but they don't look much alike with a careful look
The V12 engine is from Ford. Produced by a special Ford motor division in Cologne, Germany. The focus there is engine development but they also produce there some special engines in low numbers.
That is true for the previous generation, say the DB9, but the V12 in the DB11, DBS and Vantage V12 is all Aston built

Wanted to buy this car but just couldn’t deal with the old infotainment system!! Ended up buying the BMW 8 series instead! Much nicer on the inside!

im not a tech guy but aston martin be having dated interior , preferably a display that is timeless like roll royce or no display like a chiron. that lil infotainment and lanky gear buttons replacing a gearbox is a no for the money the are asking. i still fw with astons cuz of the brutal looks ,sound and drving
I'm all for analogue. I guess my issue is that if you're going to have an infotainment, make it less clunky/distracting to use

When a C8 Corvette is better in everyway for a fourth of the price. The interior and tech on the Aston is so dissapointing. Can't even fully defeat stability control. Those yellow wheels are the ugliest thing I've seen. Not a fan
