1994 Rally of the Lakes

Bertie Fisher and Rory Kennedy gave the Group A Subaru Impreza a dream Irish debut by dominating the 1994 Rally of the Lakes. It was Fisher's fifth consecutive victory on the event and saw him surpass the previous record of four wins held by Billy Coleman. Stephen Finlay was the best of the rest as his championship campaign continued to gain momentum. Former World Rally Champion Björn Waldegård made a guest appearance to win the historic category.
