    Are the moser rear axle upgrade a good investment for towing?

      Hey! What is the reasoning for the blow off valve? Besides the fact they do sound sweet lol XDP sells a couple different Turbosmart kits, here is a link to one and you can look at the options.

    What rear wheel spacers are those?

    • @FixedVaneDuramax
      @FixedVaneDuramax  Před 3 lety

      1.5" just amazon or ebay specials, can't remember which. But, they've been through 15+ sledpulls, towed a bunch of trailers, a few trips down the dragstrip, and plenty of street abuse without an issue!

    Love the vids have a lbz myself... What is the purpose of mounting both the shocks behind the axle... Better ride quality or strictly sled pulling setup?

    • @FixedVaneDuramax
      @FixedVaneDuramax  Před 4 lety

      I actually did it for drag racing while I was restoring the frame last winter, to aid with 60' launch times. I need to swap out for a softer shock than Fox 2.0s though they are pretty stiff in this configuration.

      @@FixedVaneDuramax interesting... So for a daily driver/sled puller it's not something I should look in to?

    • @FixedVaneDuramax
      @FixedVaneDuramax  Před 4 lety

      I would not recommend it no. There is no benefit there, it is a stiffer ride on the street, and for sledpulling you should ideally be completely blocking any suspension travel.

      And what were your differences in 60 ft times if you don’t mind me asking ?

    • @FixedVaneDuramax
      @FixedVaneDuramax  Před 4 lety

      Josh Jolley Its a qa1 kit I bought off summit racing. I havent actually gotten the chance to test it out honestly, the events I normally would have attended were cancelled this year.
