Hey. I am pretty new to the game and haven’t tried to taxidermies any animals yet. The question is when you kill an animal is that the pose that will go in the lodge or can you change the pose. Cheers for all the help.

So, I got a diamond moose and a piebald, but it won't let me taxi them, it just ahows them in trophies, I'm on xbox, is that why? Edit: It's still in the unsaved thing
I would say yes. Small animals like rabbits are around $1500 where as a moose can be $6500. If your shot placement wasn't good or you shot it more than twice it will cost even more. You must also own a hunting lodge in order to taxidermize animals. The free lodge "Layton Lakes" will only let you place animals from the two base maps.
It's essentially the same. You'll notice in the "Trophy Manager" that there is a bar that says "Saved" click on that and will give you the option to tax it or delete it.
I dont have a lodge yet, but now when i hunt a animal it wont give me the option to harvest it...only change it for a animal i have ona list or something...idk why tho...is there limited times on harvesting? Im.trying to make money not spend it all on taxidermy....
Sorry I miss read your comment before. Even if you have a trophy lodge you can't physically see your saved harvests until you tax them. You can only see the stats. Without a lodge the only way you can see those stats is: 1) Through your "Lastest harvest" screen in the codex but it would have to be within the last 20 or so harvests 2) When your save a harvest from the harvest screen and it gives the option to overwrite one of your previously saved ones. Other than those 2 ways I'm not sure.
Does this work for saved harvests cuz I've been playing cotw and I finally started to go into hirschfelden map and I've killed 2 gold medal animals one I've already taxidermied it and the other I had to save it cuz I didn't had enough money for it. So thanks for anyone who will answer my question.

Go to the trophy lodge. Open your trophy manager and select the trophy you want to tax.

You have to go to the lodge and be in the trophy manager to select saved harvests to taxadermise.

There shouldn't be. If you go to your throphy lodge you should be able to tax everything.

How do I make sceneries? I haven’t played this game in a while and saw I had a lion scenery but have forgotten how to make sceneries

Mine just says delete and there's no button next to taxidermize
Then you are in the actual trophies (ones already taxed) if you go all the way up you can slide over to the last harvest. Hope that makes sense.

Is there a limit to how many animals you can save? I heard 10 saved animals would be the limit, but I think this info is already outdated

If you picked up the other animal than ya. It saves the last animal picked up.

Sometimes if you hit the claim button too quickly, it'll automatically go to the save menu, so just be sure to only press square once.

You can save up to 10 harvests and tax them later. But if you forget to tax or even save a harvest is what this video is about really.
