2 years ago I bought their power bank with the solar panels. Though mine is bigger and doesn’t have the phone charge top. It looks the same.
First off, i had buyers remorse and after several weeks i attempted to return it. I contacted the company through Amazon and they were willing to work with me and accept my late return. I was so pleased with their service that i decided to keep it. I have not had any regrets. Between this and having a portable gas hot plate, i am covered during a power outage and of course, cozy when camping - knowing i have plenty of power to run my telescope or movie projector for outdoor films. ❤

Hi Mel. Another great video. I have been using one of these power packs for over A year now and can highly recommend it. I have had no problems whatsoever. I love its compact size as I only have a small VW t5. It powers my TV. Charges phones. Cool box. Camera and Drone batteries. And laptop faultlessly. I have the solar panel but also (and you may have forgotten to mention) I use a 12 volt lighter plug adapter to change the generator while driving from the van.
Keep em coming Mel. Also love the metal detecting.
    Martin.

    Hi Mel,
I own the same one and also think the bluetooth is great. The device maxes out at 60W (3 Amps) for charging from solar and USB-C. None of the Allpowers solar panels puts out 20 volts, which would be the minimum to reach 60W.
Best and quickest option is the USB-C charging option. You can use a USB-C wall charger or an in-car cigarette lighter adapter.

Allpower seem to use Lithium Ion rather than Lithium Iron Phosphate cells which means the battery life will be less good but still all you would probably need. Also - you will improve that life considerably if you don't store the device fully charged and don't discharge regularly below about 10-20% so nowhere near as limiting as lead acid but something to be aware of. Personally I like the look of the 1500wh model which can output 2000w "continuous" and 3300w peak i.e. to start up a large electric motor. That would be enough for some serious induction hob or microwave cooking.

But keep doing the reviews your both honest and that's why I enjoy watching both of your channels 😃

I've ordered three over the last 6 months and they all died after 4-5 charging , discharging cycles. I'm not sure why there's a design change but all three models when I open the fuse panel to check is the fuse burned out, it has no fuse or fuse housing unit just the circuit board. I definitely can not recommend what they are shipping out now since they have changed the internals of the Model AP-SS-005

Hi Mel,nice"cute" little power pack, I got two off eBay (£69each)372Wh version tho,not the 288Wh as you have. The max charge power is limited to 60W(any input),so 100W 🌞 panel is overkill for this unit, also USB c is 60W max not"amp's",not mentioned is you can also charge thro this and dc5.5 jack plus Anderson. Btw the 12v 'cigar' skt is permanently live and I have charged thro this also with back to back plug from van(the cell pack voltage is 12.5v when fully charged),so perfectly matched to the vehicle battery. Hope that all makes sense.👍🤔

I liked the look of how lightweight the solar panel looks. I have the aluminium framed versions that are quite heavy but, I need one to take in our campervan that is portable.

My inverter stopped working after 8 months & the display was so dim could only just see it in the dark. AP customer services is a joke, called them several times with a promise to get back to me which has never happened yet. Never again.

Hello Mel. love your videos and have followed you for a while and have bought a few items on your recommendation which i have been happy with. But as there is always a But lol , the Chinese heater company you recommended with a discount code has disappointed me. having ordered the heater a month or so ago when you advertised a discount code i just accepted it would arrive with the usual controller with remote and the usual tubing with adequate hose clips etc. to my disappointment on opening the package to fit the heater this week i was greeted with the green squishy fuel line, which while some say is not good ? others say it works well but not as good as the more rigid nylon tubing that seams standard on other heater suppliers ? disappointment 2 was the clips that are meant to hold the fuel tube onto the heater, fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel tank outlet are bigger than the fuel line so wont grip the fuel pipe onto the said items grrr and disappointment 3 was the controller that was supplied that i can only find one video on CZcams using this particular controller and that is from a bloke in Australia that tests these heaters, which does not show how to use it >>>> video showing the supplied controller czcams.com/video/BN0UPzN_Mw8/video.html. while i have managed to get the heater working and the controller is stated to be a reasonable controller ? i feel this company have used your good name to send out an inferior product on the pretence of supplying a discount for your viewers ? yet as i am having to buy a controller with a remote and the better fuel line and also having to search for an air intake pipe as the one supplied is very flimsy i feel your good name and reputation has been abused with you recommending this company's product.
