No she wasn't 🤣 Hate to break it to you but these scenes are rehearsed many, MANY times before going on camera, she was probably over the joke.
IMHO, I this is one joke so well delivered that it gets funnier and funnier the more times it's done.
@@philbecker4676 but comedians will often change their delivery or improvise part of a line. Emma could have simply changed looking right into Dawn's eyes when she said it and the unexpectedness made Dawn look down. In her good morning Australia interview for the Emma tribute, Dawn says Emma would make her break and they used those takes sometimes

Is this a new episode? I’ve seen all the seasons of the vicar of Dibley and don’t remember this scene at all, and am wondering why the vicar and Tinker look so much older. Did they reboot the series? Giving me something to look forward to seeing?
This was the 10th Anniversary special from 2005. It had 2 episodes and dvd extras.
Now I know where Jack White got his "I've tapped that" joke.
No more Queen jokes now sadly..... the world was much better with her and Alice (Emma) in it......
