Nice. I just bought this stuff and am looking forward to doing this. I've used this film to protect different areas of bicycles and it is great. Have tried the inside of the door handle area? Those are also like $70 from Honda. It's just a bit more complicated to cut the curves to do a nice job.
No I don't think so extra 2 inch will be too much and you can always carefully cut one inch off with a razor blade. You will not be able to see inperfection in your cut.
I'm not because it's cost $1k and it's cost less to paint hood lol. I'll rather paint it one day when I need it. don't waist your money on that. My friend did. Not happy. He payed 1k for a bumper and half of a hood... If you do it, you can only do hood your self. With a strip for like $40 then it will worth it

I definitely don’t plan on doing the entire front end, just the hood since it’s metal and with rock chips (michigan sucks) it could rust over time, the bumper is mostly plastic so not too worried about that. The hood seems like an easy part to do since most of it seems flat, i still need to get the size of the hood when i get the car, i think if i was to order xpel ppf it’s going to cost around $200, which is a lot cheaper than getting it installed at a shop for $700-$1000. Keep up the good videos, ever think of posting an owner review video? talking about some of your likes and dislikes, fuel economy and such?

I did get the partial hood, bumper, headlights and mirrors done with xpel ppf. It cost $750 installed. I'm not proficient at installing so decided to go with professional install. I got it done due to using the car on road trips and will most likely get many chips all over. My past cars had many!

i put the crv ones on my sport touring hopefully they hold up.
Love mines. Still holding up great after like 4 month. I tend to hit with my foot that area alot .
