Princess Anne on a horse with a sword I have no doubt she'd use in a fix. What a treasure you have!
A very hard working treasure she is not only Princess Anne but as the eldest daughter of the late Queen she is also known as Princess Royal.
Laughed when I read your comment. A warrior princess if ever there was o ne.
@@Brenda-on7hypatron of Save the Children?
What a wet day!
Why do they wear those hats?
No where in the world do you see such stunning majestic, beautiful, stunning heritage . Only the British.
Hold your heads up UK, you are amazing!
How lucky to have a Monarcy over a thousand yrs!
This family has the blood of such history in their veins and have proven they love their country and itâs people and the crown!
God bless them!â€
Born and bread in UK totally agree. Watching from New Zealand is great but not the same as the experience live đ
Long live King Charles III!
How heavy were those wretched uniforms?
@@sandrameredith6372 What kind of bread? White sliced? đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
I absolutely love Princess Anne. She is a classy, no nonsense lady. If thereâs trouble I want her beside me.
Anne is a beast ,leading all her fellow soldiers like that ,she has had my respect since she was little. HUZZAH Princess Royal ...a big salute to the British military
She is a respected Royal and loves her country â€
Prince William, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward were all on horses behind the Kings carriage. The King normally rides horseback to but was advised by his doctors not to this year.
Thank you to the soldiers in attendance today who've done our King and Country proud as always UK đŹđ§
Happy birthday, King Charles
God Save the King and the Royal family đŹđ§ đŹđ§đŹđ§
.
Loved every second of it! Always best wishes to the British Royal Family! đșđžâ€ïžđŹđ§đ
Yes đŻ đșđžâ€ïžđŹđ§
To deal with prostate cancer you aren't allowed to sit on a saddle for a while. Neither horseback nor motorbike or bike.
@@betula-pendula Which is why King Charles was in a carriage. So were Princess Catherine and the royal children. Lady Louise got absolutely drenched by rain đ§ïž but sat upright as if it was beautiful weather. Respect!
The King also took the salute at the Palace gates in the rain too.
Much respect for Prince William, Edward and Anne riding horseback in the rain đ§ïž
FANTASTIC! đ«¶
Indeed MAD respect for them!
No matter how much rain...it will NEVER spoil a Cremonial Parade ...NEVER !!
Do they get cold
I wonder how it affects the instruments?
The military and the people of the UK outdid themselves. Wonderful to see Prince William, Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Royal on horseback, too. The full turn out, commitment, discipline and respect despite the weather was admirable!
Bless all the people who braved the rain to support the monarchy and the soldiers â€
I was so happy to see the beautiful gorgeous Princess Catherine she looks amazing and healthyâ€â€â€â€â€â€đ·đ·đ·đșđșđșđșđșđđđđđđ
Rain or shine, pomp and pageantry goes-on. I miss Queen Elizabeth in this gorgeous event.
Brilliant. I would have stood in that rain just to see KING CHARLES, QUEEN CAMILLA and
the wonderful trio of PRINCESS ANNE PRINCE WILLIAM and THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH leading the carriage with PRINCESS CATHERINE and the children
An old Australian who after the last awful years for the RF has come to really see , understand and appreciate the true nature of that family and why the Monarchy has existed for so long.
That's the Brits marching and playing trombones in the rain. Well done
Brings tears to my eyes seeing the love of respect for King and country. From New Mexico, USA
Yes I agree
From New Mexico myself. Love watching the royal family doing the trooping of the colors parade. The family is amazing
BRILLIANT IN TYPICAL BRITISH WEATHER..GOD BLESS EM ALL..đŹđ§đŹđ§â€â€
Perth Australia receives annually 200mm more rain than London
The rain was glorious, a gift from above and it kept the horses cool. They loved it and so did I.
(the dry cleaning bill, not so much)
Absolutely! đŽđ
I was thinking how all those serving would have a lot of work drying and cleaning their regalia and equipment afterwards. But it's Britain, wet clothing in need of a warm fireplace is normal. đ
Wonderful woolen uniforms. Loved my father's dress uniform. REME SGT.
@@angelaevalynnwainwright4494 Every time I see those parades I think of the Wizard of Oz and the lion's tail at the end swaying back and forth....lol
Actually the horses looked pissed off at the rain. Most horses don't like hard rain on their faces and if mainly stabled, trust me, they don't like going out their stables to be ridden if it's raining hard.
Gotta love the stoicism the royals so beautifully represent! â€đâ€đ
No matter the rain, it's still fantastic and magical....
I wish I could be their. So proud of all the people who came out in the rain to.enjoy the day . God says their are blessings in the rain.â€
Amen in Agreement with you!
Yes, it was a blessing!
It poured for about 25 minutes and it began to clear in time for the Royal Family to come out the balcony. Majestic it was! â„ïžđŹđ§
Me too! Love the UK†and itâs Royal family!
There?
RAIN!!!â€â€â€ BLESSINGS POURING OUT OF THE HEAVENS!! FATHER GOD BLESS AND PROTECT PRINCE WILLIAM, PRINCESS CATHERINE AND THEIR BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN!!â€â€â€
I have such admiration for the British people who just get on with the job in all sorts of weather rejoicing with pomp and ceremony and good will. What a lovely celebration this was seeing the Royal family and all the lovely marching and joyful crowd.
What pomp and splendor!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KING CHARLES.
Good evening from Italy! Hard rain, what a pity! But Trooping is Trooping, and everything is so perfect, so magic!! Compliments and admiration from your italian fan â€
How beautiful!! Happy birthday Your Majesty!!! â€â€đ
A regal rather than actual birthday.
His Birthday is in November
Both beautiful and Brilliant Royal Highness â€đ€đđđœđđœđđ
So wonderful to see beautiful đčPrincess Catherine đčand her children!
Loved way back when Queen Elizabeth rode side saddle at these...Magnificent...
I am also old enough to remember that sight
I am so proud of all our Servicemen and women. They did us proud as always.
What a fabulous job everyone did!!! I felt so bad for all of them when the rain started. By the time they got back and could start cleaning up and drying off - the horses, their kits, their uniforms, the hands with their instruments the troops with their head head gear,, - My goodness, they must have been exhausted, cold, set and ready for an early night. It truly was worth waking up at 4:00 this morning to watch the full celebration. England truly knows how to do pagentry. I loved it. Curious though, did the poor regiments prefer the cooler weather of the first 2 dress rehearsals or the rain? Bless them all, I hope they all stay healthy. I'm sure the King was pleased. CONGRATULATIONS TO THEM ALL!!
Now that is Family loyalty, royal, regal, majestic ,loved watching the parade.â„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïž
The rain didn't damper anybody's mood.
Ann always holds her own at these events.
She is a stellar sister to the King and Never lets the side down.
I admire her tremendously.
THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
Let's all take a moment to celebrate the stoic, loyal and dedicated Princess Anneâ€ïžâ€ïž.
A formidable ally and worthy exampleâ€ïž. God bless you Princess Anneâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžđŻ
Happy Birthday King Charles đ No one does it like the Britâs pomp and ceremony rain or shine âš it was magnificent.
Feel so sorry for all the soldiers, police officers and, of course, the horses having to ride and stand guard in the middle of the rain. On a lighter note I had a chuckle at Her Majesty tapping her foot along to the music; also pleased to see the Princess of Wales and her children attending and was impressed by George going and getting a chair for his mother. She must have been feeling a bit weak at her first outing. Isn't Princess Anne a real champion to be doing that ride on horseback at her age. I think she is brilliant.
I noticed Queen Camilla enjoying the music too ;-) Love it! Princess Anne is one of my very favorites! She is such a trooper!
The event eludes me, but I remember on a different occasion observing Queen Camilla having a great time tapping her foot to the music. It mustn't be a thing there is a royal protocol for đ
So good to see people enjoying and having fun.
This is stunning
Why is it that seemingly everyone overlooked the fact that it was Edward riding with Prince William and Princess Anne. William was in front and Edward and Anne behind him. I'm not even British, but I knew it was Edward and he was wearing the Green Colors.
I recognised/recognized William by his nose.
What are the Green Colours? Don't princes wear Blue?
I know they were all glad to have WARM, DRY clothes waiting for them. I stood in that kind of rain to hear Prince William gjve his Earthshot Prize speech in Boston. đ€đșđČ
I hope no one gets sick after this. You did great thank you.
They're British, they can handle a bit of rain đ
Not much stops these dedicated people they are amazing
FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE by the KING'S OWN !! THANK YOU from SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, U.S.A. THANK YOU ALL !!!
Very thankful the rain stopped. The horses, troops, spectators. Royal Family! Goodness.

Iâm in tears donât know why Iâm Australian but I love the royal family đ
Although I do appreciate the work of Princess Royal Anne and Prince William. Itâs sad that many times channels as yours fail to emphasize Prince Edwardâs work in the RF.
I agree. The Duke of Edinburgh is a treasure, working quietly but very hard to support his brother the King.
Those hats are so enormous nobody recognized The Duke , !
Don't forget the tireless Dutchess of Edinburgh

Indeed! â€đâ€
God bless all of them. I love the Royal Family. From Australia.
I salute all the loyal people who soldered on in the rain, to support our men and women as they also did their duty. Thank you British people, and thank you dear tourists!
(Wow )Prince William,Princess Anne and Prince Edward Duke of Edinburgh đđșđžđŹđ§
I so love our royal parades. Our King and Queen and The Duke and Duchess of Wales are the cherry on the cake. GOD SAVE THE KING AND LONG MAY HE REIGN.
its amazing view the celebration and the people wants to be a part of it its raining . they are the patriotic . GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Troops marching. Bands and bagpipes playing. Unflinching in teeming rain. Classy!
Agree đŻ always love watching so spectacular
It makes me proud and Iâm not even British
Always thought my father's family came to US from Scotland in the 1650s, but learned rescently they are from Wales, could not be more proud. His mother's family were Scots.
Grandiose. Magnifique. Fascinant
Princess Anne is the best rider. She rode in the Olympics for England.
They all done very well marching, riding horses đŽ in the rain đ§ïž can't have been easy, plus everyone watching there every move, hope they all dried off & got warm,â€â€â€đđđ
Beautiful horses. â€â€ them.
Princess Anne is the most underrated and underappreciated member of the royal family. â€
Why is Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, never recognized? He was right there riding between his nephew and sister, wearing the green sash of the Scots Guards as he became their Colonel this year. Several so called "royal" channels have only acknowledged William and Anne, no mention at all of the man riding between them. SMH đ€ŠđŒââïž
For some people it's just lack of recognition because he quit the Royal Marines for a career entertainment industry in January 1987. For him to participate in Military events like this is to some people inappropriate, to others he's never been seen as high profile or he's not accredited for accomplishments unlike his nephew and his sister.
The green âsashâ (technically itâs called a riband) is of the Order of the Thistle, not of the Scots Guards. This is the senior order of knighthood in Scotland and was awarded to Prince Edward in March this year. Very appropriate since he was granted the Duke of Edinburgh title last year. He has been a Royal Knight of the Garter since 2006; that has a blue riband (as worn by most of the rest of the Royal Family at this Trooping).
He never had the military inclination and to my mind very brave to quit the Royal Marines. His documentaries were really good. He quietly achieved.
Prince Edward was next to his sister Princess Anne Prince William was next to Prince Edward Edwardand anne are the kings sister and brother
Respect from Indonesia.
:) :) You grass-combing civilians have no idea. All of the hours of polishing, cleaning, pre-inspection inspections, then the inspection, then the parade, then weeks of post-parade clean-up. Drying those bearskins takes a week, uniform JACKED UP for days. What a pain. Consider how pissed off the horses are- they hate the rain. All of the saddlery wet and stinking. But man! what a parade!!! glad to see Kate back in action!
So much work!
I know part of it, having had two ex-Cavalry Grandads with high standards! Yes horses, especially stabled ones, do hate the rain.
Would have absolutely loved being there!! So amazing đ đ
If I couldnât see and hear the rain, Iâd not have known it was raining due to the stalwart professionalism of the corps (or whatever you call them in England).
They're the true Royals ...leading their men by example and staying with them rain or shine â€â€â€
Stiff upper lip and carry on, rain, wind and shine. Wonderful as always. I was thinking there will be a lot of work when they all get back. Drying and looking after all the instruments and horses. King Charles even stood out in the rain, saluting his cavalry. Yes Catherine, Princess of Wales(not Kate Middleton, just stop it no respect) was there with her children. đ
I'll never forget you are all trained military. Thank you for all you do. đđđđđđđđŽó §ó ąó łó Łó Žó żđŽó §ó ąó łó Łó Žó żđŽó §ó ąó łó Łó Žó żđŹđ§đŹđ§đŹđ§đŹđ§đŹđ§
Bless everyone at the Trooping of Colour 2024....
Praying no one got sick from the rain!
Nah they're used to it, takes more than a bit of rain to make the British sick!
Watching from NZ.... I ⥠all of this... but I'm so sorry about the rain, looks pretty heavy. King Charles looked amazing, I couldn't see Catherine but I know she was there in the carriage. Best Wishes Charles !!
Gosh watching from South Africa đżđŠ What discipline. â€
The rain probably cooled them off!
Heavy rain..they don't care..I admire these Guards
Thank you for video. I feel like I'm in the crowd with you. From Los Angeles
Que emociĂłn, el 16 de mayo estuve visitando afuera del palacio, desde PanamĂĄ, saludos y felicidades al principe Carlos.

Better the rain . Then 100 degrees here in United States in Mississippi
Beautiful to see. i enjoyđźed it very much from California. It's wonderful what Britain military has đźđźđźđź hoping to see more
Gorgeous. I love horses so muchâŠthey are magnificent. I am so glad purpose is given to these magnificent creatures. Since humans control thing these day, it is good they have value still in human minds (that need justification)âŠwhen we have these damn car things. âșïžâŠ. But other than that worryâŠ.such a moving, joy filled day! You Brits have this down!! â€ïžđ
Back to base and all that tack, livery and ensemble has to be dried and cleaned before bed đź
True dedication đđŸ
QuĂ© hermoso desfile. FelĂz de haber visto a Catalina con sus hijos.
What good horsemanship to control their mounts in that rain- which looked almost like snow.
Congratulation to all those marching in that rain. After all that work on your uniform and boots and kit, you will have much more work.
The Princess Royal is the Royal Family's answer to Jack Reacher!! She's the one you need beside you to fix everything. Magnificent!!!
Ive ridden all my life & was seriously impressed love that Prince Edward is being recognized he & sophie just get thinjs done no drama
Love and God bless the Country and the Royal Family... â€

Poor soldiers. It was still lovely watching.
At least no guards fainted due to cool weather wearing those long black hats.

Could you tells us alittle about where the horses are sourced from , they are so magnificent. Thanks for this , and to all the stalwart troops participating.
I believe they're mainly sourced from Ireland, and are Irish Draught crosses.Bloody nice horses.
