It's almost like the hunger games were written to mock and parody the ultra wealthy.

Or maybe the hunger games was financed and sponsored by the same people who will bring it about... Like predictive programming...

its almost as if the dystopia genre takes flaws in society and twists them to an extreme...
it’s almost like tiktok encourages fear mongering without fact checking which leads to masses of people overlooking easily obtainable facts such as this one then preceding to get pissed off and terrified of things for frankly no reason
It’s not twisted to the extreme we are the extreme if anytning we live in a way way way darker world then hunger games except there’s no rebellion there’s no hope no justice maybe soon there will be a rebellion against this horrible place we call a democratic government. & form a REAL democracy.
The movie is based on reality, it's not twisted, it's literally happening
That’s the point, it’s not extreme anymore.
We don’t hold games every year where 23 people are killed for literally no reason and televise and celebrate it like a football match. The hunger games it’s not like real life. It’s a dystopian movie and book sure, but it’s taking extremes from society and expanding them in a story to make less prominent societal issues more apparent.

Our world is not *turning* into the Hunger Games. Suzanne Collins wrote these books with this absurd world, with the intention of showing the readers that those structures exist aswell in our world. We are and were the blueprint of the hunger games. It's a metaphor and her try to get us to reflect on our own ways in this world. Our downfall started around the time those books were made.
