Hello Teik, thank you for all you´ve done for us! Thank you for believing in us and for supporting us. We are also very thankful for your passionate and detailed feedback, it always helps us build a better brand and gives us perspective on our products.
I am very pleased with how those boots came out, they are lovely and look great on you.
As many have pointed out they do need to break in and must get better with time, we will be ready to hear your thoughts once they have broken in.
We are surprised atn how beat up they came in, we will look further into this.
Overall we hear you and hope you find them enjoyable, we recognize your passion for boots and we are very happy this united us all, as fans and in our case as producers.
    -Alfonso Ignacio

@@cordobesboots I honestly can’t see anything wrong with the packaging or condition! The leather is clearly a lovely oil tan and subject to pull up, and it shows that quite naturally!

@@Bootlosophy Thanks a lot Teik, I agree that the oil tan is quite beatiful!

May I suggest? Get yourself some over the calf socks, say from Darn Tough, and the boots will feel even more like they are a part of your leg. I particularly like the handmade "wonkiness"---these will be your one of a kind boot. The heel will settle, almost lock in, and you won't need more buckle on the instep. That instep will roll into an extension of the whole boot. Wear them a lot. It's not the break-in, it's the shaping of the boots.

Engineer boots were made famous by Marlon Brando in one of his movies back in the day. 50’s-60’s?
I like ones with logger boot heels.

Almost all engineers have heel slip to some degree. Id recommend putting in the nicks boots delta arch insoles to tighten up your instep. Makes a world of difference

Those are nice! I can't wear pull-ons except on motorcycles. My badly healed ankle needs the support of a lace-up for walking.

I've been admiring a lot of engineer boots lately - love the look of them but I have the same problem as you in having no real use for them. I was about to purchase a pair, but then realised what I really wanted was a black boot with a smooth front without laces, that could be quickly slipped on and comfortable to wear, so I ended up purchasing some RM Williams Chelseas, the comfort turnout with the wide rounded toe last. I'm really happy with them as they fulfilled all my expectations. The engineer boots will have to wait for some other time!

Interesting. Are they made of two different types of leather? The vamp looks so much lighter, than the shaft but you didn't mention it. Perhaps it's just the pull-up of stretching the vamp over the last?

A note -- Watch out for the slapping of the boot shaft on your calves will walking. I have to wear really tall socks to make sure this didn’t eventually start chafing my calves.

I have really enjoyed your videos. i have to say i'm very surprised that you are so passionate about well made boots and goods but have not been sucked down the denim rabbit hole haha. i was thinking about that when you were discussing needing straight leg jeans.
One slight constructive criticism, and i say this as a fan of your channel - the opening theme you have picked strikes me as very truck commercial-esque and not fitting with your demeanor. even if you are set on the opening song, you may consider adjusting the volume levels a bit, as it normally blasts me out when i watch your otherwise very calming videos. not sure if others feel the same. just a thought. i hope you are well and thank you for your content.

I am so appreciative of Tek - he is a wonderful, knowledgeable soul and yet, i agree with FredPutterman, the intro music seems oddly out of character and i am quick to skip it as the volume is also a bit jarring. just a humble comment - otherwise you're perfect Tek !!
