I've been watching a lot of these cash stuffing videos, and really feel I need to do this! A few months ago I bought some binders and envelopes and *somewhat started, but was busy with my day to day job so haven't took a good plunge on budgeting and stuffing it away. I just want to tell you that you talking about your faith in your video means so much to me! I too look to God to guide me, and trust His direction and provision. This is such a practical cash stuffing/ sinking funds video. Making the best of what you have. I too believe that it all adds up. The video speaks to those of us who may not have a huge amount but it’s important to start from somewhere.

My eldest niece was a Paralegal for years and quit when her 2 kids were toddlers.
She was fed up,and said to my sister,”Someone has to be there for the kids.”
She was looking for a Caregiver, my sister being a 1 st time grandma said yes.
Now my niece does reception and book work from home on her computer for friends and neighbours.
She is very happy.

Great stuffing.... I didn't touch my points at all last year and it was great! I ended with 60k in points. I still have almost 10k left 😊 Fetch is amazing! I always save it for Christmas for extra gifts ❤

Your video popped up, and I clicked on it and was glad that I did. I have been trying to do the cash envelope stuffing and have failed miserably. I have started and stopped at least 3 times. Maybe the videos I had watched before yours, even though simple, were just unmanageable. The increments of money they were saving and calling it "low income" wasn't. I call it misleading, but anywho.. Even though you're doing a weekly budget, I feel like your system can fit my bi-weekly budget. So, thanks. New subscriber here.

For the last two years I’ve been saving up to move out in the second half of this year. I reached well beyond my savings goal! I fell off watching these budget videos when I found a system that worked for me, but now I’m trying to get a jump start on planning my budget for when I move out! No surprises 😂. If you have a smart TV and get an antenna you can get so many channels for free. We cut our cable a long time ago and then used CZcams tv. That went up so we ended up cutting that out and got the antenna and have probably 200 channels! Just passing it along in case you didn't know. We didn't know and hate that we wasted so much money on cable and didn't use it.

You are right about the first of the month being top heavy! I have 4 bills over $200. I don’t want to complain too much because I love my SUV. I drove my old car 24yrs before my husband talked me into a bigger better vehicle. I’m cheap on certain things lol 😂. I still have it too as a backup lol 😂. I’m so happy for your new move and YES it’s expensive. I just started my savings journey. It’s going pretty good so far. I had ONE problem on the first day. My husband’s check was short $50. I cashed in some rewards from credit cards I’ve been saving, got money off my ibotta app, and cashed in some fetch rewards for Walmart to cover the $50. I REFUSE to use my $300 buffer in that account for that. I’m serious about this journey. I’m looking forward to watching all your videos so I can learn a little more! Good luck in your new apartment!

I've always wondered how do you know what denominations of money to get? And how do you decide how much money everything will get?
So cash stuffing is more of an “art” than a “science” there really is no specific amounts… it’s trial and error of figuring out what will work best for you. A good place to start is by looking at recent bank statements to see what amounts you’re already spending. That’s where I started and I tried different amounts until I found the amounts that work for me 95% of the time.

So I didnt save specifically for my apt because it was unexpected! But I do have an online savings account that I put money into as much as possible and that’s what I used. I “put the money back” in my savings account by emptying my sinking funds. Now, I’m rebuilding my sinking funds ☺️
