    sounds so good

    Mic sounds great. I'd have to put the mic somewhere below the soundhole though. So harp harmonics (etc) are possible with the mic fitted

      Yeah it's a great idea. I think Neumann now has one like it

    nice good sounding mic. i just think that it will be better if it have a shock mount to isolate the contact noise.

    • @sillennium
      @sillennium  Před 3 lety +1

      I think it has a shock mount as part of it, but obviously if you hit it with your strumming hand it will make a noise. Thanks again don't forget to subscribe!

    Will this mount to an Ovation or other round back type body styles? I want to purchase this system, but that's my only concern. Thanks.

      I would lean towards no, but i don't have an ovation. I would say buy it from a place with a decent return policy.

    Can the clamp get small enough for a mandolin

    • @sillennium
      @sillennium  Před 3 lety

      I believe they make a model for a mandolin specifically

    Nice content man. Can I use this mic with an ukulele or with a smaller travel guitar (like a 34 inch)?

    Does it work if I connect it directly to a Amp or a PA? Or do I have to connect to some kind of power before?

    • @sillennium
      @sillennium  Před 2 lety +3

      I believe it requires phantom power

      It works great, use it all the time in church, except now due to the Rona

      @@sillennium Any feedback issues?

    • @sillennium
      @sillennium  Před 4 lety +1

      @@paulysguitarjournal I haven't gotten any with it. Obviously you can get to which I did when I plugged it into my quilter amp and stood right next to it briefly turned all the way up

    Does this mic have a built in bass roll off? Seems a bit boomy the bottom, and I'd need to roll that off for my Gibson.

    • @sillennium
      @sillennium  Před 4 lety

      It does actually and I forgot to show that off. Obviously you can move the position also to control the boomy sounds. The switch located on the module you plug into your mixer etc
