The reason I comment this is because it's so contradictory to all of these other Saints saying we can't get into heaven without crucifying our selves, especially what Therese of Avila says.
Help Im so stuck. I struggle with vanity. I think im supposed to give all my good clothes away for worldly detachment, as well as suffer on the cross by taking out my nise pirrcing which my mom paid for as a birthday gift. I wish to love and please Jesus and live as a saint for him but I'm too selfish to do it even with all the love and revelation I have through CZcams and prayer. Even though its not about me or how I feel, its about serving God and doing His will.
Hello, may I suggest you start by doing small things to combat your vanity. Like rather than giving all your good clothes away for detachment maybe start by resolving not to buy anymore expensive or extravagant clothes. Then look at the clothes you have and ask Jesus to guide you, which ones he wants you to remove so you can simplify your life and focus more on Him. He will give you strength and He will be patient with you. It is the devil who suggests that we do too much holy stuff all at once. The devil likes to do this so we feel unable and don't do anything. Make the biggest gesture you can and Jesus will accept it. detachment hurts to let go of stuff so there will be some discomfort at times but God knows our weakness and as long as your desire to follow God remains He will lead you.
It is our hearts and the love with which we do things that is very important. Prayer quiet time with Jesus will give you the strenght you need to make all the changes Jesus asks for over time. The Holy Spirit is a voice of peace but the devil causes anxiety.

Jesus said, "No one has ascended to heaven, except the son of man, who came from heaven" John 3:13...The Catholic church says, "Mary and all the Catholic Saints are in heaven". I'm an Ex-Catholic, so I believe what Jesus said, not what the Catholic Church says. Jesus doesn't tell lies. On the other hand, If all of the lies were removed from the Catholic Church, the Catholic Church would have to shut down, because without its lies there's nothing left.

First what is shocking and there was no secret to escape Hell ? You need to rename your video the Catholic Way , because its not true Christianity . Second what keeps people out of Hell it is the living Savior and Lord Jesus Christ providing repentance takes place and Jesus is always ready to forgive instantly . He also deals with every person individually where they are in their life , He is not a collective Savior nor is He a catholic religion nor any other . Jesus Christ said : you (we) must be Born Again (spiritually) to enter the Kingdom of God .John 3:3-7 . Also we are then guided by the Holy Spirit not just a light . This is a nice poetic story aimed at peoples emotions , but the real biblical substance is missing .
May I suggest that you go study Church history and the Church Fathers cause you definitely sound ignorant and need some education!! The first Christians were Catholics, not some protestants (still protesting) like you. Geez Holmes.....
You are so fixed in your thoughts. Unless there is repentance and love in our hearts can we do even a small act of kindness and compassion towards our neighbours / enemies.
