The lady introducing the band is the one and only Gladys Knight. This track performed by Focus actually is 7 minutes long , but they were told they had a 4 minute slot on this tv programme. Rather than duck out they speeded the whole thing up. Brilliantly mad !!!!

He's not possessed - He and the rest of band were booked to play the show, to play their seven-and-a-half-minute song - And, at the last minute, they were told that they only had four minutes. To chop the song up, or leave.
Which pissed them off. And they felt challenged. So, they decided to play not just the ENTIRE song, but to even ADD a few stanzas. At almost triple the speed of the original song. Just to show they could do it.
So now, they're legends. While nobody knows the names of the producers who told them to play nice or get lost.
