    Robert Francis Garrow Jr. was an American serial killer who was active in New York in the early 1970s. Garrow went on an 18-day killing spree and stabbed four people to death before being apprehended. His criminal trial, known as the Buried Bodies Case, became an important case in legal ethics after his attorneys refused to disclose the location of the bodies of two of his victims, citing attorney-client privilege. Garrow was later shot dead while escaping from prison in 1978.

    I've listened to a few of these types of cases and in each case the child was treated brutaly by his parents, a study on voilence effecting the brain found the frontal lobes of the brain are destroyed with repeating blows and this area is responsible for your personality and your behaviour. Its rather sad that this brutal man and indeed many others who's crimes were so evil probably would never have committed these if he'd had loving nurturing parents. Society needs to prevent parents who harm children turning them into monsters from having the ability to have them, this would lead to fewer peoples lives being destroyed and victims living instead of being murdered

      @shanem4703 Před 3 lety +6

      Yes but what preventative measures would you recommend for those who grow up in loving and nurturing families and still end up committing atrocities like these?
      I agree the monster parents that abuse their children in turn creating other monsters should be buried underneath a prison, but there are still significant numbers of those who grow up in those bad situations that break the cycle and never offend in any way themselves.
      The biggest problem is literally anyone born into any situation or life style has the potential to either be a monster like the man in this video, the polar opposite, or anything in between. It's really depressing to consider overall.

There are plenty of psychopathic people out there, but, they don't kill people they are usually people who make others miserable, some or very successful business people! So it's a combination of genetics and abuse suffered as as a child. The abuse suffered by this guy is horrific. The only affection he got as a child was from the animals he cared for, thus leading to the intimacy with animals, those animals which went on probably to slaughter! I also believe that his lawyers did the only option they had, attorney/client prevelige

Yes, it is a terrible crime and extremely traumatizing for the victims who have suffered through it but it is an essential word in describing the depravity of these warped and twisted criminals. People who are offended by that word but feel nothing when they hear the words “murder”, “kill”, “killed” or “killing” should probably not complain about the use of the word “rape” when describing an actual crime. There is nothing more traumatizing and final than murder.
