What would be your approach!?
Same way u did it!!
Die hätten das mal aus Metall machen sollen und kleine längliche Magneten in die Schienen einbauen sollen damit sich immer alle mitbewegen, auch wenn sie in der richtigen Position sind^^
Please solve sword Excalibur puzzle
@@HobbyTechie he already did
You make me smarter with every video.
This is too easy compared to the giraffe puzzle tbh
I still couldn't solve the giraffe puzzle
everything is too easy compared to the Giraffe!
Bruh, the giraffe was 10/5 difficulty.

Right here, but do mind the date it was uploaded...
@@philipphoehn3883 I still haven't solved the Rubiks Cube and a 5 year old can sole it LOL
Love how you say "Keep on Puzzling". You & Chris Ramsey are my favorite puzzle solvers/experts! Excellent work on solving this one, that was genius!
Did you think of designing your own puzzles?
yes :)
I can imagine Mr.Puzzle designing a puzzle that would be a 6/5 difficulty...
So go try to design something, since you have so much experience with puzzles I'm sure you will have lots of awesome ideas, you could get some good money.
Mr.Puzzle , you could improve this puzzle and make it more difficult easily, couldn't you ?
One tiny thing might be;
I'm surprised those boards didn't slide-out in BOTH directions with a stopping-point-thing on the inside.
That would have slowed you down, huh ?? Lol 😮😂😂🎶
[[ Edit, a BIG EDIT 'cause I thought of something lol:
You could do this NOW on THIS one. ;)
You could dremel-out the other side so they would slide-out.. (but FIRST dremel-out some slots on the top and through each board (for stopping pins) so you would have that original position for holding them fast while you did it).. then of course you'd do that side cabinet opening 2nd like mentioned already..
Guess what ?? Lol
You'll be turned into a woodworking channel because you'll be sanding and polyurethaning on the side,
and you'll be using Wood Putty to fill back in that top slot, sanding coloring/staining and whatever else to make it look natural, too.
Did I forget to say again, you can include that drilling/hollowing-out with that Dremel, to boot ?? Lol
Just give it to someone with these specs for your improved design.
Tell them to make a video for ya' though, or YOU do it.
You'll be a Woodworking Puzzling and Everything Else Channel in no time.
😅😅😂😂🎶🎶
[[ forgot: ya can mix them slotted boards up too. Keep each five separate but ya can put them in any direction ya want. Don't look at them again. Theyll be mixed up anyway but don't memorize ant pattern about them.
Cheers. ;)
Mr.Puzzle , oh never mind some of that. lol
I didn't realize those sliders already went out both sides.
Those pegs on the sliders prevented 'them' from coming out you meant.
It's fine the way it is.
Presenting this to a friend with a cold drink can inside, if the puzzle was improved, it would be hot as heck by the time they got into it. Lol 😂
Improve your quality rating to include, "a visible cold drink inside (tempting them) staying cold for a fiend".
That's a joke lol 😂
Another great thing about these videos, it gives you an idea of the difficulty, so you know who to buy them for, to see how they deal with the challenge.
This seemed very similar to picking an actual lock. Someone should send you a lock and a set of picks, tell you it's a puzzle, and see how long it takes to open!
Seriously, your problem solving process is so informative. I would have never thought of that. Thank you for the video :)
When I saw your first video with my girlfriend we both agreed that you're a GENIUS... You have so great intelligence to solve those puzzles that we are amazed. Most of all we just love your German accent,It sound great! Wish you all the best in the future and hope that youl solve more of interesting puzzles...
These blind solves are great. I really enjoy watching them.
A bit like how ya find out the combination to cheap bike locks.
Try stealing my bike and I'll stamp on your face. ;-)
@@EleanorPeterson very cool and badass! You sound super awesome, dude!
I like watching your very first attempts at solving puzzles.
Remember those bike locks with the circular combination wheels ? I used to pick them using the same method as you did here. Just watch the first wheel and then move up to the second wheel when the first wheel is showing no tension and continue for all the wheels.
Yes, I thought of that too! I was so pleased when he used that method for this puzzle.
I had one of those locks for my bike when l was about 12 yrs old. Someone stole the lock but not the bike.
Always love these "How I will approach this problem and solve it" videos! They teach more than just the solution.
Of course these aren't possible for harder ones that might take +1h to solve.
Glad you like it! Thanks!
This one is king of funny because it looks like you can put the door on upside down as well, so for the unsuspecting its like 2 puzzles in one!
Your obversasional skills are OUTSTANDING in all your solutions...
Weird question here, I am not sure if it's a thing where you are from, but have you ever done escape rooms? It would be sorta rad if you did a video of you solving one Haha. I feel like you would be amazing at it
Never tried! Do you know if it is allowed to film in there?
@@Mr.Puzzle most of them cameras are not allowed. Perhaps if you offered to pay extra for the usage of the escape house content online? It actually does sound like a great idea.
@@groowanderer That would be bribery lol. Some places do, some places don't. Just look for one with a nice manager and see if you can talk things out.
@@LorreMaitale I guess, if you consider basically any monetary transaction to be bribery. ..
There are these Escape Room Story boxes though, I think those would be Fine to Film I guess. They are however in German and therefore hard to translate..
also more fun to solve with other People!
I like this livesolve method so we can see the approach taken.
That thing you did with the coins at the start, was that to form a frame on the table so you know whats in the camera shot?
exactly!
Mr.Puzzle is it weird that I can imagine your voice saying "exactly!"
@@Mr.Puzzle and here I was thinking it was to give perspective.
Excellent planning method
That’s a cool puzzle I watched with the caption on and no sound. Great quality video and it’s been a while. Thanks Mr. Puzzle!
"if you can't open this beer box you are already too drunk"
I was hammered and opened it with a hammer.
Nice! That was the first solution I thought of too; I'm starting think like Mr.Puzzle - that has to be a good thing for me.
:D
Simple design, beautiful idea.
Very Cool, genius strategy!
The new live solving approach make video even more amazing!
Now is difficult to further improve your video...
Thanks! :D
I like the live solving as well!
Maybe a smallmimprovement is to change the background for wooden puzzles as wood over wood would hide some detail... but is really a small thing
Your channel is so underrated. I love your channel keep up the great work. Greetings from Las Vegas USA
That was a big brain solution!🎉
Solid wood! Good video
This is a simple puzzle... Sweet
Great job... i liked the puzzle
the nice thing about this style of puzzle is that it easily could have been made much more difficult by adding extra depth to it. Instead of left, right about 4 possible positions or so. Possible with varying fits making your method of solving far more difficult
The faceless puzzle master genius
Would be awesome for an Escape Room.
As a kid... a friend showed that way to explain why I shouldn't buy the (very popular) combination locks solved within seconds. She was creating many various types of puzzles with her dad for wealthy people.
Happy Holidays Mr Puzzle, liked your vid n shared
Cool puzzle
If you unlock it and somehow cut off the retaining dowels, you could make it programmable so you could reset it to any chosen combination by shuffling the bars. This device could be refined - make it from metal with more bars (The ends stamped with numbers or letters) and it would operate a little like the Da Vinci Cryptex puzzle.
i ll add a puzzle to get the key to open a padlock that holds the cell beside the slide mechanism on the bottom,so 3 in 1 would be super nice and fun
you are very clever and smart. Thank you.

Great application of logic, Mr Puzzle!
Thanks!

Ein sehr schönes Puzzle, das ein aber auch verzweifelt lassen kann. 👍
Puzzles r me life
How would you open the compartment itself? I can see the box slides out but the area behind the "bars"?
It seems like if you were to pick it up by the bars and start violently swinging it back and forth that gravity would pull the case down when the grooves were in place.
It been a few months since the last time i watched your video. I see you adding background music, talk with higher tone and using jump cut. your video's quality is evolving.
Interesting.
Mr Pluzzle, I'm sure that you would loose even the Gordian knot , probably..!!
I believe you have taken lock picking lessons !!!!
Phi Brain: Puzzle of God.
And you're the main character. ;)
The are 5 sticks each side so if there are 2 possable positions so thats 2^10=1024 combinations. so trial and error method would take some time.
Good one. Liked. PEACE...
Where did you buy this
This right here is why I would never use those combination bike locks to secure my bike. To unlock them you use pretty much the same strategy takes less then a minute.
Imagine if the pegs on the removable box part were not all lined up!
There's only one thing I dislike about these videos: On every single one of them there are still people who think they are the first person ever to think of making a hammer joke or some variation of it. Even though half the comments to the very same video already did it too. Imagine how many times MrPuzzle has to see that "joke". It wasn't even funny the first time.
Where can i buy this?
You should try to solve a Rubik's cube. I can!
Already done! ;)
My solution give it to my wife to solve...... I still have nooo idea how she solves the Rubiks Cube but she has done it four times now
I'd do the bars face down held up sliding top and bottom rows randomly til it drops 1 notch repeat. Want me to write a recursive loop to solve puzzle?
U are a puzzle god
I think the solution is fine, but I have some thoughts on the puzzle. First I wonder how the technique would work if the pins on the inner cage where not in the exact position. I think this would cause random tension. Second, why are the slides of the keys pinned? it seems they do not need to be there when the puzzle is locked. Changing the "L" space to a "U" space and letting them slide out when the inner cage is removed would allow the puzzle to be rekeyed. Having a U would allow the pins to be inserted from either side, aka left or right. A subtle change to the "U" can allow 3 or 4 positions. With a little change, the pins can be changed so there are different keying on the top and bottom, now the key is not only left and right, but can be turned upside down.
That would de definitely an improvement! I am sure David will like this feedback!
However, I think he is also focused on cost-effective manufacturing.
@@Mr.Puzzle I am inclined to agree with you, but this was my thought as I was watching the video and I thought it was worth sharing. As you mentioned, David, I am curious as to his thoughts. In the meant time I will watch another one of your videos...
Please look at the SMS puzzle box. They are not cheap, but they are amazing
from where do you buy all this puzzles
i bought this one from www.knobelbox.de but is also available in the S of course. Check the links in the description.
Geiler Anfang❤️❤️❤️
Wait doesn't this mean you could simply hold it upside down and wiggle it to open it ? Hmm :/
I don't think so
Do you own the Mr. Puzzle website that sells puzzles? I really am trying to find a specific puzzle. I would like a puzzle with a lot of surprises like pieces that come off so you can use those pieces to get further into the puzzle and recommendation?

Oh yeah yeah
Hi puzzle daddy
hola!
I don't think it should be a 2. A lot of puzzles that you have to figure out how to solve are basically 2 way. Lets say (1) to disassemble, then some times they are just as hard to (2) reassemble. This one, once you have it open there is no difficulty at all getting it back to the beginning..
Sort of like picking a combi lock.
you should try a cheap bike lock.
Way too easy to break. We used to do a similar thing with combination locks on bicycles at school. If you pulled the two ends of the mechanism and rotated the dials you could undo them in less than 30 seconds and we swapped around about 20 locks one day at school. We weren't so cruel to ride off and leave everybody stuck, but it was funny. Could undo locks that people had forgotten the code on also. Always worth a quid or two.
