Really thinking of upgrade to this gladius 3 from gladius 2 just because it use Type C cable,using the PTFE Feet and weight reduce to 89g.
Absolutely love all Asus ROG's build quality, designs, and features! But I’m Hoping for a better connectivity for Mac users specially in Armoury Crate software, I’m still having a hard time getting my devices paired on Macbook pro but overall, they really know what they're doing. 👍🏼
Got the Gladius III Wireless AimPoint. Amazing mouse, props to Asus ROG for the switch replacement feature. I was so annoyed when my Logitech G305 started double clicking after only a year. To buy a soldiering station, get new switches and replacement legs just wasn't worth it. On the other hand, the Rog mice are built to be repaired. They just thought of everything. Like why can't other manufacturers give you 2 unobstructed screws to open the case etc... Big F.Y. to Logitech and a huge props to ROG for building a product that can last.
I want the AimPoint version, even though they list both white & black. All I see ever is the white one for sale. Annoying.
I have this mouse I manage to cut the weight by removing some plastic inside the mouse cover using soldering iron and take off some screws that not necessary , love how its weight now feels like Im using Honeycomb shell mouse 10grams lighter
Why would they take away the detachable cable for the wired mouse? That was such a useful feature.

What is the lightest switch I can get for this mous?
right, BT is great, but my ROG has issues with it. I need to disable/enable the bt device, notebook restart and all that. to make it connect to my wireless sound system.
1. Lightweight
2. Completely fingreprint resistance (this is very important for me)
3. The plastic grip texture on both side feel surprisingly nice
4. Battery last for 3 days (50 static brightness) for me
It also come with free two switch in case you busted yours.
I do hope asus completely abandon abs plastic in the future.
I almost buy this with the claymore 2 but I go with falchion instead.
ABS keycaps sucks, especially if you can't replace the keycaps with 3rd party keycaps.

Ironically, the mouse wheel was built like hot garbage. The wheel will break on you very quickly, leaving you with a useless mouse (I've gone through a couple of them). The mouse switches were built for long term, but the rest of the mouse isn't. Also the tiny grooves of the plastic grip are poor-thinking too, because they collect dead skin and are too narrow to clean regularly.
If you want a working mouse that lasts for $100+, don't buy an Asus one. They're cheap. Try Roccat or a more reputable peripheral brand.
So and now still waiting for the Claymore III, which then hopefully has PBT doubleshot keycaps for the price also in the DE layout (really - you only think of UK/US with it ???).
Oh yeah, and Wireless Wuuuhhhuuuuuuu, hopefully that will come for the Numpad as well, so you can use it undocked.
And while you're at it, it's best to have an additional module aka macro keys that you can use wireless and docked.
It's a shame that the Claymore II has so much potential, but it's not fully utilized.
After all, the board costs about 270 €, so i would expect a little bit more.

gladius III cant proceed to the update in armoury crate it always stuck up in installing.i already restart it . but the same problem. whay should i do?
how to change macro on side button ?
I bought it because of the Omron switches, because they are replaceable and not soldered. But of course the roller broke after 1.5 years, so now I ordered parts for it from China.

Hello ROG! I really love this version of Gladius 3 series it’s almost perfect for me! the shape, hot swappable switches, lightweight, 50g, wireless, etc. but please soon i hope you release 8000hz polling rate version of Gladius! 🙇♂️ and make it 60-80 of it’s weight pls for esport gaming!

I really, really, _really_ like the free wheel capability of most Logitech mice.
If that patent isn't already expired... jump on that train when as soon as it is.
Because what I really _don't_ like about Logitech mice is how hard it is to repair and clean them.

it has dpi button, it's the tiny button above the scroll wheel

I have the mouse and I have issues with the scroll wheel.

The problem I used to have, when you scroll down it makes the opposite but they fixed by software.
The other thing I started to notice is when you’re playing you feel like pain in your wrist, like tiredness in your wrist.
I don’t really recommend this mouse.
Even Roket Ninja don’t recommend it.

Hey @ROG just that you'r dev team knowes ich changeg to a logitch mouse because of the patern you put on the side of you'r mice, because thees paterns are dirt magnets. Also you'r rgb software is pretty shitty sometimes.

Just keep the switch in the back at the middle which is supposedly for wired but that should be the off states 👍🏼
