This album is amazing, and that bass pops. Travis sounds insanely good, and I was entranced reading the lyrics. This is better than the last record and that’s saying something
Bet ya a dolla the bass doesn’t pop as hard as Boz Scaggs bass did though!
Olivier Pinard (Cryptopsy) on the bass, it slaps HARD.

@@CDPA7 we get it, you dont like the band, but you are outnumbered in regards to opinion, Cattle is one of the highest quality death metal bands of the 21st century and more people are going to hold that opinion over yours

Solastalgia is incredible. The last minute is the most epic part of the album imo.

Travis's vocal performance and composition is so good on this album! Gives me old school metal vocal vibes at times, but always hits just right in how it fits and feels in the song. I gave the album a full listen for the first time last night and found myself saying, "fuuuuuuck!" multiple times.
The sound and songs truly are grand and give you that epic, larger than life, feel. Just fucking awesome.
I never thought they will go beyond Death Atlas level. Glad that I was proven wrong.
I know right? They just keep pushing the envelope. \m/
Got my copy today, love it. The new cleans are so immersive, 10/10 great follow up the Death Atlas and the 4th in the Monolith series.

This was my favorite death metal album of 2023
Man, im so happy to see Cattle Decapitations Terrasite and The Oceans Holocene album come out this month. The Oceans new album even comes out the day before my birthday. This month has fucking rocked. The only thing that can make this wilder is if Leprous, Gojira, oe Rishloo released an album this year.
I agree with Solastalgia being a stand out track, best on the record imo. 10/10 album

We saw them live last December and nah, he just doesn’t like it. He is not much of a death metal in general
@A&P-REACTS that's fair. I knew it would be a hard sell for him during the prophets of loss video. To be clear though I was not trying to rude by any means...I just want that band to get as much exposure as possible. They are all super nice people and the message is as important as the music.

This album is better than Death Atlas.
Vocally I agree, musically they are very close to one another. But this all around is a better album. Not sure 10x better.
