hmm interesting. :P They are similar types (but I'd rather not even bother discussing twilight cause honestly, I have a hate-love relationship with it lol). But in the novel, edward was described as graceful and an amazing dancer. There is even an angry and deep passion in sergei's dancing and if he brought all that to the big screen, I would imagine it would fit the stephenie meyer's edward perfectly. Of course, I'm still an advocate of killing Kristen Stewart with a shoe and fire this time. She's the real problem with the movie adaptaion. . . (besides the horrible plot holes and the messages portrayed to the audience but I won't even go there!). Listening to Sergei's interviews and seeing him dancing, I feel like I can relate to him so closely because we are both into art different types) but art nonetheless.

thesleepingsoter even the director of the royal ballet said they will always get those dancers who are so popular and beyond talented, that will end up dancing more of an extreme amount than other principles. He got burned out and probably felt a loss of artistry. Plus he was going through family issues as well. I don’t think he as resentment against the Royal Ballet, and I don’t think the Royal Ballet dislikes him either. It’s just the media that coined him as the bad boy.
Many phenomenal dancers have very long careers at the Royal Ballet and seem very happy. Nela comes to mind, for example. Just because it wasn't a good fit for Polunin doesn't mean the company is bad or abusive.

It's a tattoo, they mostly cover it up with make-up before he performs.
Yes though in one of his interviews it is said that that one is a tattoo, because he mentions that the make up artists always get annoyed when they have to cover it up cause it's a lot of work. :)
