- Around 50 miles challenge bike and hike through difficult terrain of Scottish Highlands. Via glens Tilt, Geldie and Feshie. It was beautiful but hard with many obstacles on the way including serious river crossings. Me and my dog Black Lady Sofie we did it in a day and half with a wild camp up in between the hills. For Sofie it was her last 'Stag party' trip before pregnancy. In September 2020 with Sofie. PS. Two months later 21st November 2020, day before publishing this movie Sofie made me and my whole Family extremely proud giving a birth to eight Labrador puppies! It was 6 in a row and I thought that must be it and took some videos and pictures which I used in here. However there was 2 more still to come much later in the night:-] Well done Sofie!!

Sophie is the star of the trip and an amzing hiking buddy. She is awesome ! I miss those Glen's but not so much the river crossings :)
Thanks. Its just part of it I am afraid. The best trips are usually those difficult ones:-]
Great companion to share your journey. Loved the video too. Long may you prosper on future exploits. Look forward to more.
Thank you very much, usually post once a month, occasionally twice.
Absolutely loved your video!made us laugh and warmed our hearts. Hope you and Sofie have many more adventures together 👍🙂
Thank you very much. Glad you liked it. Ye she is a best company and now we decided to keep one of her puppies. Little yellow girl. She may join us a bit later next year for trips too.
Great video. On my list of bike packs to do. 👏
Thank you, good luck in there, it's a hard one:-]
Amazing ! My Black Lab Harris would love Sophie ! We also mountain bike in Scotland. If You ever want to go for a cycle with the labs just let me know on here ! Take care . Slanj
Thank you. Ok, will do. Sofie loves MTB trips up in Highlands and enjoys it so much. I now take the dog trailer to help for longer trips though as don't want to destroy her..
👍👌👌
děkuji za pěknou podívanou:-)
Dekuji za zajem
Well done to you and a bigger well done to Sofie. A good video pal
Thank you from both of us.
Well done! And good on your dog for making it all the way along.
I'll have to try drinking whisky next time I cross a river so I feel the water boiling hot, haha.
Good I found your channel so I may get some inspiration for my future adventures as well
Thank you. Ye defo try it and let me know how that worked:-]
Greetings from moroco good Luck br ♥️🌷♥️
Thank you and all the best to you from Scotland
Fantastic video, well done and thanks for posting. What a great route and journey with your best friend Sofie :) All the best!
Thank you very much. Same to you!
Aaahhhh, ooohhhh. Thats me and Helen when we saw Sophie and the puppies. We hope they sre doing well.
It was a good trip and tough cycling with the big pack. I would like to hike up Glen Tilt and years ago did hike up Glen Feshie and over Dalwhini and on to Fort William. We had lots of snow and some heavy rain too.
Loved this film in such a buetiful location.
Cheers Johnas and I notice your English is a lot better.
🍻👍
Thank you Dave and Helen. Ye, Glen Tilt is really special, there is a good track to cycle or walk almost right to the waterfall Falls of Tarf where is a good spot to camp. I recommend it. Puppies are doing well thanks. Fancy one? It was a real privilege to watch that miracle.. Ha ha don't be British for a while Dave and tell me that my English is still rubbish..I can face it. Especially considering the fact I 've been in Scotland 15 years now:-] Its also my big weakness on youtube I am aware of that. Not easy to make great progress as I am most of the time on my own when working and at home I speak Czech.
Evening Jonas, another fantastic and inspiring video from you. The best thing I have watched on youtube for a long time. Helps you realise how very lucky we are to live in bonny Scotland. All we need now is for the bothies to reopen again. Take very good care and lovely to see the puppies as well.
Thank you Willie, I don't even deserve such a fantastic feedback:-] It was a great trip and I had a good fun editing it!
I don't see any reason to keep them shut. This is the bothy season! 90 % of my bothy trips during the winter I am alone in bothies...
@@jonashubalekwhiskyandthewild I am with you there, really need to escape for a while but been doing some writing at the moment to pass some time. Aye, bothies are a great place to escape to and to chew the fat with likeminded people. Take care
Great vid as usual - good to see mans best friend
Thanks Kevin, ye she is my best friend even if I count people in fact:-]
Brill Jonas. Another cracking adventure... 🍺🥃 aaaaaaaahhh 😁
Thanks Kevin. CHEEEEERS:-]
Good video man, enjoyed it 👍 I've just subscribed to your channel, all the best Chris.
Thank you very much. All the best to you too. I will check your channel and give you a subscribe if I like it. I am sure I will:-]
Good stuff man, I'll look forward to watching more of your videos 👍
amazing video :)
Thank you!
Nice one Jonas, i really enjoyed that mate . It's a route i may hike sometime..You can't beat having a dog for company mate ..cheers Stevie
Thanks Stevie, Its quite a bit to walk on road from Feshie to Aviemore at the end which is easy with bike.. Good option for walker may be to go Atholl - Braemar. Its a bit shorter.
Just watched this on my big TV, really enjoyed it. 😁
I've always wanted to camp by Bynack Lodge, looks so wild & remote.
How's are the pups, any left?
Thanks Robin, appreciate you found the time. Bynack lodge is a fantastic spot. My first option was to sleep in a bothy by Geldie burn. Seen it in one of your video, I think you cycled there from Braemar side. Finally decided to take the tent with me and that was much better option as the bothy inside is just a mess. Some work in progress behind it though. I think 4 left now. Looking for friend to your cat?:-] It would be nice to sell one to somebody like you who loves outdoor and live actively.
@@jonashubalekwhiskyandthewild that little shelter was rough as to sleep in and not a clean ground, you made the right decision for sure mate. 😁 We did have a good party in it. 😂
I've got a route in mind that'll take me to Bynack Lodge maybe in the spring. I'll ping you a PM on Facebook about a baby Sophie....
Started to watch but cant watch people riding without helmets. Stopped once you started riding.
It's safer to cycle with helmet than without for sure. It's my choice whether to wear helmet or no though. And your choice what you watch. Plenty of other cycling videos for you elsewhere where people wearing helmets.
