Well done .your result so far is great and it will improve as you say.. Nice for young guys to see an honest review ,and not to have unrealistic expectations, espeicially for high NW's..
Thanks 👍 I couldn't find much transparency when I was doing my research, so I decided to take it into my own hands and share everything as it is.
Just amazing. You say it can't be perfect after just one surgery but I believe yours is! Enjoy your new hair!!
Really great video showing before and after and everything in-between.
A lot of HT channels forget to show themselves before any operation, but it really helps to visualize how much you changed and where you started. Thanks!
Thanks man, really appreciate that!
Great hair across the front. Looks strong too and really healthy.
Well done for taking control... you did your best, as you said, took control, took the risks, faced down any fears, were patient .... those good results are fully deserved man :-) :-)
Appreciate for such kind comment! Indeed, patience is the key with hair loss. Do your research, get it done and reap what you sow :)
2021 Yr of the Hair Transplant.. This channel will be 100k this time next yr, with the content going on here and the word about how well these transplants work continues to grow, 2021 will be a big yr for HT industry

Great video, I really enjoyed the timeline one as well! I'm in my second month of FUT and have to remind myself that these things take time
2 months is a great time to be! The worst is almost over and very shortly you will start to see some movement! 👍

Surprisingly quickly. Didn't really expect that haha
Wow, amazing improvement. Should give hope to many others. Much better than being bald....that's for sure.
Thanks John!
Hair on the head really changes the appearance significantly.
Indeed. Completely different person as my face is kind of structured now with hairline.
This will further improve with my 2nd HT in June 😃

@@MrRolandas
Does that mean your first hair transplant hair loss? That's why you will do hair transplant again?
No, I have very extensive hair loss. In the first transplant I've covered only frontal area, on the second one I will cover back and improve hairline. Subscribe so you don't miss further updates on that 👍
@@MrRolandas sir i have some question.
Doesn't the back of the head get worse as a result of applying hair from the back of the head to the front?
Does the back hair grow again?
I'm getting to know you and I really like your style and openness
Nice man nice! 🔥🔥🔥 congrats. I just got my fue a week ago
congrats on your HT!
Mr. Rolandas thank you man!
Amazing result with good texture! Just wondering where you did the HT and it’s cost?
Salute to u my friend.....
Looking good, thx for sharing
Appreciate that!
Looking great. Had my DHI transplant in March 2021 for 3,000 grafts. I thought it was quite more than I actually needed without over harvesting the donor area. I guess I have to be patient like everyone else going thru this.
It's about time to start seeing some growth!
@@MrRolandas thank you. I have several hairs that are still growing in the frontal hairline creation after the surgery, which I have not cut yet. Everything else seems to be coming along in the previously bald area.
Nice job my friend! Thank you for helping us and making more videos. Any side effects from the minoxidil?
Appreciate that!
No, never had any issues with minoxidil. It's also quite rare to have any side effects. That's why it's widely available over the counter.
Is it fine if I use regaine instead?
Cool... i've been worried about the redness of the skin, thought it should be over by now (1 month), but obviously it took longer in your case too.
It looks insane
Thank you
these results are great!!! Biggest value I got is that great results can happen even with people who have thin hair, the key is to be patients. After this pandemic ends, I will be getting one myself and I am looking forward to it. Right now I am researching different doctors and also whether I go with the strip surgery or the FUE and the way I am leaning now is to do a strip first and then if I do need a second surgery I will do an FUE.
Brilliant approach. I remember being in the same shoes, contemplating between FUT & FUE. For me the key factor was seeing Dr. Bisanga in person who told me my head is really small and strip won't yield much, so it was really 50/50 whether I will go for FUT or FUE. Also he, Dr. Lupanzula and later Dr. Ferreira all said my donor is really good, between 80-100 grafts/cm2, so FUE can be safely done too, hence why I went for it. But If I were in a different position, I wouldn't hesitate to get FUT done.
@@MrRolandas Thanks!! When I do for a consultation, I will ask how many grafts I have per cm2 and work from there. My hair is thin, just like yours and my hair loss was very similar to yours where when I was younger I was able to hide it the same way you did but eventually I couldn't do that anymore. I'm older so I am ok with an FUT simply because I don't cut my hair so short that the scar will be seen. From the research I have done, the doctors you mentioned are all considered some of the best in the industry and I have read some very good things about Hattingen Hair in I believe Switzerland or Germany and Joe Tilman had a great video on them. I'm in the States but wouldn't be against going to Europe and get the procedure done if the doctors are good and get great results. Going into this, the one thing I do understand is that because of my thin hair I may not get the same results as someone with thicker hair and the same amount of grafts and I also understand that this is more of an illusion and that my hair won't be the same now as it was when I was 18 year old. What I am also going to do is get a more age appropriate hairline so this way, I can get as much of my scalp covered in one shot as I possibly can but if my results are even half of what you have, I will be as happy as can be.
Sounds like you're on the right track with your research and expectations 👍 I absolutely love Hattingen results. Have you seen their interview on Joe Tillmans channel? They're like Hasson & Wong, but in Europe.
@@MrRolandas yes, I saw the interview Joe Tillman had with Hattigen and that's what turned me on to them. They have great result videos but you always worry on some of those videos if the person has any sort of product in his hair to make it look better than it really is but once I saw the interview I was sold. Hasson and Wong are one of the one's I am also looking at. The journey starts with research but also videos like yours helps a lot as well so people can see how the process works from beginning to end and how results look on different people.
This is realistic way to look at doing a HT. I got one about a year and half ago. Its not often going to be absolute perfection but it made a huge difference. For me i can add a little concealer and get a full dense look. Even without concealer its not bad at all considering im 39. With concealer tho it looks like like i completely full.
Good for you! 1 HT is very rare. There's no 100% survival. First will always lay a foundation and mostly will be the biggest difference, but follow ups are just "touch ups" as they call it to perfect it further.
Isn't concealers a bit tricky cus you cant go outside in the rain and if a girl wants to take a shower with you then you cant do that either.
Yep, you're right. Concealers aren't perfect. But also how long are you planning to hide your thinning from a girl? There will be a point you will open up anyways 😁
@@Rumblingbelly most rain wouldn’t mess up hair fibers. I work out a few times a week and get sweaty etc, never had an issue. No, you wouldn’t be able to shower in it but i told my girl early on in the relationship. She doesn’t care about my hair as much as i do. Its not much different than my girl using makeup. Eventually you got to see whats under there too.
That looks fantastic
Thanks Dean!
@@MrRolandas your welcome bro. I've just had mine done. What month would you say you experienced the most growth?
Momth 5-7 I'd say. Check out my previous video where I showed month by month progress and compared to "hair growth timeline". Very interesting video!
@@MrRolandas thanks bro. Having a binge watch now. Have a good evening.
Have a snack with you 😁
well done of that transplant, looking good. Have you looking in to PRP injection method?
Nah PRP isn't sustainable long term in my opinion. It's costly & need to visit doctor once on a while to get it done. It can be very inconvenient long term and as you know If you stop any hair loss treatment, you lose all its gains as its impossible to keep gains from one treatment with another.
Also worth mentioning that not every PRP is created equal. There are no standards and everyone is doing in his own way. There are different application methods, extra ingredients and amount of platelets as an example. Some might work extremely well and some will be a waste of money.
Nice!!
Wow that’s great

Hi mate, amazing video...
Did you use any tablets or prp and what did you use for the itchy scalp?
Thank you!
I'm on finasteride 1mg/day 6 months before surgery surgery and didn't stop since.
After surgery I was using aloe Vera gel to speed up scalp healing and combat itchiness
Great result. I am booked to have one on the 5th August in Istanbul. Any tips?

mine is 3 months now lets see how is the progress in coming months
Good luck! It will get better and better now every week!
Nice vid as always.
Can you share which travel pillow you used at 1:10? Did it help with sleeping and protecting the grafts?
Thanks! You can find it in my description ;)
BTW yeah it was incredible. I've been sleeping with it for 10 days! 😄 Definitely recommend it
Travel pillow is super important for post-op recovery.
I didn't take mine off for like a week haha
The close up of your transplanted area looks like the density of my normal hair. But while yours is getting more, mine is getting less unfortunately 😅
Haha that's a funny comparison. Not sure how to take this, as a compliment or as a negative haha 😆
@@MrRolandas compliment of course! How was the density of your donor area? Is the hair in your donor area coarse? I'm trying to assess whether I could get a similar result as yours once I need it
@@MarkusGebhard my hair is very thin 50/51 nm, i wish it could be coarse! :D
Most people have thicker hair than mine :)
Hi sir! I just saw your vlog about your hair transplant surgery. The results was awesome! I just wanna ask if how much does it cost for that transplant? Thank you so much for posting your hair transplant results!
Thanks Joseph!
It all depends on where you're going to and who is doing the surgery. Price doesn't dictate the quality, but for the most part if it's "too good to be true" it probably is.
I paid about €9000 for this one.
I will have my first hair transplant under My Ferreira. Thank you so much sir for the reply and waiting for more uploads on your channel! Take care sir!
Hi Rolandas! Nice vid! What made you choose Dr. Ferreira in Portugal? I live in Portugal near Porto and my father is considering a hair transplant and I think i'll be going to down the same path eventually despite having lots of hair still. Thanks!

Create a plan and follow it 👍
Hi Mr R
It looks to have been successful, good for you
Are you happy with the results and would you recommend it to others generally or do you think it depends on the person ?
br
Simon
Hi Simon,
Thanks. Yes I had great growth from my 1st transplant. Due to my balding pattern I had to do another one which I had few weeks ago.
Do I recommend? - IF you're a good candidate for it and you go to a good doctor - 100% yes.
Is it Mr.Ronalds or Marcos Reus? How did you style your hair in today’s video? Looking fabbbb! Please Please make a video on that (how you styled your hair) . Great result.
Just looked up Marcos Reus. I wish having his hair! But thanks for the compliment.
I actually think it wasn't looking as good haha Just quickly put some hair products and that's it lol
Definitely will do it as quite few people already asked me lol
1:40 fully looking like Reus!!! And also your hair is looking super thick. Thicker than ever. Do a tutorial video on this hairstyle . I will surely watch that video sincerely.
Just amazing dude. But one question after transplant need medication like minoxidil and finastride for life long or just PRP treatment kya enough?. Kindly reply. Thanks....
Finasteride and minoxidil is used to keep your native hair from miniaturising further. Transplanted hair doesn't require anything. But if you don't stop further hair loss you will look weird with hair in the front and bald behind.
I never been a fan of PRP. Expensive, always needs to go to the surgeon to get it done and efficacy is very questionable. Also it works more like minoxidil by giving weak hair boost, so it won't stop further hair loss like finasteride does.
Verrry niiice
You look great
thanks mate
Great video. You are talented at making vids. Here is my question if I may - I still do not fully understand HT's - you say you got 3600 grafts but 10,000 hairs. So what does that mean? You actually had 3600 holes punched in the back of your head but the hairs within them equated to 10,000 hairs?
Thanks!
Yes that's right. 1 graft can have 1-6 hairs. I had lots of grafts that have 3 and 4 hairs in one unit. So this means from 1 hole there will be 1-5 hairs growing.
In total I had 9986 hairs, so very close to 10,000 :D
@@MrRolandas Thanks for your response. So please explain this post to me that I was looking at for example...
instagram.com/p/BtllqhRgTg7/
It says the FUE surgery was 1160 grafts and then breaks it down to 346 singles, 64 doubles and 203 triples. Is the math just wrong here? Because only when you multiply the HAIRS inside the grafts do you get around 1160.
@@seand5517 definitely something is wrong with this math! :D around 600 grafts are missing, so must be typo
When are you planning to get the second procedure and will you be adding to front density or are you going to focus on the crown?
Currently exchanging emails with Dr. Ferreira in regards to my next surgery. I know original plan was around 2000-2500 grafts for crown and sprinkle a bit in the hairline. Will do an update video once everything is confirmed.
Will get this done next year May/June or hopefully earlier if will get on cancellation list.
1:48 "Of course its not perfect"
What are you talking about dude?Your hair is freaking AMAZING,this is one of the best transformations i have ever seen ,and i have seen a lot my friend. This is a killing hairline,no wonder why Dr Bruno Ferreira is considered one of the best surgeons in the world, iam planning on getting a ht next year, same doctor!!I have been watching your journey since you started it and boy,iam so happy for you!!

P.s.2 Are you still on finasteride?I want to to start it but iam also afraid for the known reasons..
Appreciate your kind words man! Dr. Ferreira is a top man.
I'm on Finasteride indeed. Why don't you do like I did start from 0.25mg twice a week and increase from there? I have a video on it.
@@MrRolandas Yes your video was very informative,i will do it the same way you did!I wish there was not so much fearmongering around the net, people keep blaming finasteride for every issue they have,it is so frustrating and so wrong! 20 years on the market ,used by millions of people without any issue and some try so hard to convince the rest that fina is the devil. So wrong and distractive!!So i will start fina and i will try to spend less time on net,the last thing i want is to come across such biased rumors. Thanks again for your helpful advices and your videos!

How much and which clinic my friend? I want to get one and I’m budgeting…
Hello. I'm in the initial stage of loosing hair. Hair is thickening. Slowly getting bald at the front. Any suggestions? Where did you do yours? I'm from Canada. Thanks
if you're on initial stages you can get it all back with Finasteride and possibly minoxidil. Look at preventative treatments first.
Go see dermatologist/trichologist.
It's very huge improvement. Do you use finasteride and minoxidil?
I am on Finasteride, but not on minoxidil currently.

THE CRICKETS KILLED ME LOL
but looks good, congrats!
@@matthewmitchell5141 Thanks! After another 10 months it will look even better as I just had 2nd transplant ;)
Hi,where did you done your hair transplant?
Hi there hope all is well. Why from :35-:45 are there three different post op photos? Was there a break in between each portion?
Also why do you write 10,000 hairs and another video it says 3,500?
It was a 2 day surgery.
At 0:35 it was lunch break on day 1 after extractions were done and some incisions for hairline.
0:38 day 1 was finished with around 1800 grafts extracted and implanted.
0:43 day 2 was finished with remaining grafts.
Im about 7.5 months in much better than 2-3 months ago just little light on my recipient area. Im think by the looks of it this might be the best in regards to coverage and density. I will give it about a 7 out of 10 for now. I want more density but not sure if the next 2 - 3 months will make a difference.
It should give you more illusion of density in upcoming months that's for sure.
SAMUEL
Hope!!!
Hair looks good, but getting a good natural hairline is always tough
Thanks man!
Hello MrRol..
What medications do you use to slow down further hair loss..
Best regards from Croatia
Hey man, you are probably the first person I'm talking to from Croatia! :)
I'm currently on Finasteride 1mg/day. Been doing minoxidil + microneedling for 12 months prior my surgery with a bit of improvements.
I'm currently planning to get 2nd HT early next year to cover the rest of the area and get on oral minoxidil + microneedling for maintenance.
@@MrRolandas
Your hair looks great.
Very good tactics finasteride + minoxidil + micronedling (winning combination).
Best regards :)
@@antetolj6746 The only proven tactics haha
If this won't be enough I'll try RU or CB, but I'm sure should be alright.
What do you think of Hair of Istanbul hair clininic? Are they any good?
Honestly I think they're producing very poor quality, but of course it's not a surprise as they're a basic hair mill with no proper HT doctor in there.
If you put their results side by side to one of the best HT's, you will quickly realize it looks really bad. You can clearly see a straight line on hairlines, multi hair grafts implanted in the front which creates super pluggy appearance.
Also proportions seem to be off very often. Hairline is done very low, but temporal peaks didn't brought to the front, so it feels like hairline finishes behind the ears.
It's more like hit or miss. I kind of like Mr. Hairlubrious result, but his one looks very different than any other they show on their insta and/or what I see people post.
Lack of consistency is the problem in places where they do multiple surgeries done by multiple people.
Hello my friend im a new fan of you 😍☺️☺️💖, i did my transplant hair 2 months ago and all my hair shedded out im bald again from front , my question is when my hair will grow again , and what can I use please , is that normal i feel depressed , thank you 😌.
It's fine of course. Check my other videos on how I've progressed
Where to availed this?
Mr R, I hope you are well. Does microneedling cause any negative effect on hair transplant? I dont want to microneedle if it means I can't get a hair transplant. I think I am over thinking. Thanks 😊
I've been microneedling with 1.5mm once a week for 1 year before transplant. Didn't hear any complaints from my doctor and 2 transplants turned out well
@@MrRolandas Thank you so much for your swift reply ❤ And my other question can dermaroller cause cancer or fibrosis? Do you know anything about that :) If you don't, it is fine :)
Replied in your previous post
Nice
Thanks
At what age did you plant it?
I went for a consultation on the weekend. My hair is similar to how yours was. They told me they can only do 2500 grafts for safety
Of donor area.. however im not satisfied as i know i wont be happy with the result. Could you advise? Thanks
Get a second opinion (in person) with a good doctor
Great! Where did you had the procedure done?
Dr. Bruno Ferreira in Portugal
Great results mate. I wanted to ask a question. Your Before pics, you seemed to have decent hair on the crown and mid scalp area, but your after Transplant results show your crown/mid scalp has thinned. Is that due to shock loss from hair transplant ? Or cos you’re not on any medication ? I wanted to have a transplant done to thicken my frontal area , but I was worried it might give me shock loss and I might end up losing my crown and mid scalp area because I have diffuse hair loss
Thanks!
My whole story is this - I was using minoxidil with microneedling for 12 months before my surgery, so it gave me a temporary boost. Right before surgery I had to stop minoxidil and microneedling and I decided to ditch this treatment for now as it's not long term sustainable and it won't give me results I'm after anyways. I was just on finasteride, so it stopped further hair loss and actually did improve my crown quite a bit compared to my baseline (pre-minoxidil).
My plan is to get 2nd HT in crown and mid scalp with strong thick hair and then go back to minoxidil and microneedling after that for "maintenance" and possible strengthen those thin hairs a bit. This will be much better visual outcome for years to come, rather than being 50% happy with my crown and always thinking about getting 2nd HT.
Hope this makes sense. Feel free to check this video where I'm talking about my crown, what I used to do, what I'm doing right now, what are the surgical plans as well as future medical treatments. czcams.com/video/I6f9kKtRKd4/video.html
Oh, btw, no it wasn't shock loss. Shock loss wouldn't occur this far behind transplanted area :)
Diffuse hair loss is very tricky and should be first stabilized with Finasteride. Make sure to choose a good surgeon who has good results with diffuse thinners as chances of getting shock loss are increasing drastically in such cases.
@@MrRolandas thanks for that great reply. Would you maybe make a video in the future on your experience with minoxidil and micro needling, that would be awesome
I think I did mention it, but might do a completely saperate one. In the mean time, feel free to have a read here where I've documented my whole journey with minoxidil and microneedling www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/54415-minoxidil-dermarolling/
would be cool to have density for buzzcut cus it fits u more.
We will see how it will look
Do you think its possible to get a stronger hairline in the front? What did your doctor say about that? I like your results but would like a fuller hairline and lower on the forehead.
I recently had a second transplantt where I had more grafts implanted in my previous transplanted area. My main issue is my thin hair caliber that's not good for creating density.
@@MrRolandas amazing results if u compare with before shots either way! congrats!
1:43 you looked like germany's football player, Marco Reus 🤣
Yep, I hear it quite often 😁
@@MrRolandas btw, how long did the new hair last?
@@thoriqrizqullah5072 should be for life as it's taken from non-balding area.
hey buddy, after 4th day I started feeling pain on donor area also numbnes , is it normal. I feel like its never gonna b okay . I talked to my doctor he said just keep taking pain killer it wil be alright. But when 🤔.
It will go away pretty soon. Take painkillers. Donor is healing really fast. In another few days you will be fine.
@@MrRolandas Thanks for your reply , its the 9th day today after the surgery , is the pain same for everyone. Thats why I am little bit worried because many people told that they had no pain.
@@mubeenafzal7471 Everyone heals in a different way. You can't really compare yourself to others. You will be fine. I've spoken to hundreds if not thousand of people by now. It's not super out of ordinary.
On another note I'm sure you will find my other videos extremely usefull. I myself just had my 2nd Hair Transplant and I did a video every single day for the first 2 weeks with things to be aware.
Please share u r post medicine.. And how many grafts u have implanted?
I was using finasreride 1mg/day 6 months before transplant and continue. Nothing else.
It was 3659 grafts
Do you have to take finasteride for maintain the results?the hairs transplanted are permanent?
depends. They should be permanent, but it's known that donor still can miniaturize as you age. If you're a good candidate it should be permanent.

Hii ! May I know from where did you do your hair transplantation? Which country and which hair Center?
Hey man, I did with Dr. Bruno Ferreira in Portugal. He is charging 2.5€/graft.
@@MrRolandas - Thanks man ! He did a great job I must say.
Indeed. Recreate something that's been missing in such natural way takes a great artist. Can't wait for 2nd one in June to finish it off, give more density into hairline and temple points too 🙌
What company and method you used for the hair transplant?
Dr. Bruno Ferreira in Portugal, Fue.
Do you recommend rogaine for the crown?
Absolutely, but after Finasteride.
I am impressed, who was the Surgeon?
Dr. Bruno ferreira 👍
