Sliding the Hillman for charity!

I was invited along to the SCYP charity day again at Curborough sprint course to take part in their trackday to raise money for the Staffordshire clubs for young people charity.
Had a great time seeing all the weird and wonderful vintage cars and bikes taking part and sliding the Imp round the twisty sprint course giving passenger rides.

Started off in Minis back in '82 but bought a Sunbeam Stilleto in '84 for £30 and ran it around all summer while my Mini was off the road. I loved it, and really wish i'd have kept it. Happy days!

Thanks for sharing all that. Its an added bonus entering events to see all the other cars you wouldn't normally see on the road. Good control on the imp. 👍

Its a 1967 Chevron B6 - one of 7 made. Mid mounted BMW 2.0 M10 engine or possibly a slightly later similar B8 which was either Ford, Climax or again BMW powered.

I think it’s a B8, it was BMW M10 powered.
Sounded absolutely spot on with the megaphone fitted!
