I started detailing part time last year and can honestly say, without Apex detailing uploading what I have found to be the most honest, informational videos on CZcams; I would be completely lost.
Thank you so much for taking the time to not only rate products, but help me better my skills. I hope to some day be somewhere in your league... Until then, I look forward to learning from your videos.

@@apexdetail85 There's no doubt that you have experience, the techniques that you apply clearly shows that you're well rounded and have studied your craft.
Though there's obviously a lot of other detailing posts, once I honed in on you, and Apex detailing, I knew I needn't waste my time watching other detailing posts.
Not to stoke your ego, but you have vast knowledge and are a great teacher!
I truly appreciate you, Apex detailing and look forward to seeing and hearing more from Apex.
I don't consider detailing as my job, it's truly my passion, also my therapy as it frees my mind from taking care of my wife whom suffers from schizophrenia (which makes every day a challenge).
I currently only have two polishers, a Griot's garage 6inch random orbital and a Dewalt variable speed (mostly use Dewalt for boats).Had a Meg's mt300 that I purchased used and it literally snapped in half on me? Any advice on what polisher I need to save up for next and what pads would be truly appreciated! Since I'm on a limited budget, used is certainly okay with me.
Once again, I truly appreciate you, my brother....

You wouldn't be lost, you'd be like me when I got into detailing, you'd probably buy everything you saw lol. Brian definitely will save you A LOT of money. He wasn't around when detailing became my thing. So I spent, and spent, and spent, and spent. Even on your own you do tend to pick up on things. But, your bank account will hate you lol. Harbor freight is clearly paying attention to trends and adjusting their course.
Fantastic content with the tear down & tips on new grease.
20mm isn't typically entry level, but as you said for an enthusiast who uses this 3-4 times a year this might do the trick.
I myself would take a step down in throw and up in price for the entry level G9 and be more patient with my correction, but always nice to have local options available as you mentioned.

Man. I'm just starting out again. I had grits g9,,tons of microfiber rags,,good rags, all the polishing pads,, compounds, polishes, waxes, sealent,,etc etc. I grew up with my dad painting cars and I love to detail vehicles. It's a break from stress and an enjoyable hobby. But my house was broken in to that I was renting and all I mean all were stolen by folks that have an addiction to drugs. (I still pray for them)...…I still have my 6.5 hp 16 gallon shop vac, blower,Ridgid and my aluminum jack. Thank God. I hope I'm the first commenter. Lol..,I work every day but being separated from the love of my life I see it taking a long time to begin thinking about replacing my detail products. I think about it everyday,,cry about it,everyday. Just can't understand why ""people"" did me that way when a lot of vehicles,I did for free,,just to be a friend to a few that the world shuns,,but my heart breaks for. .Thanks for the video. And may God continue to bless you ,your family and channel. Toby Creed

Hey Brian. I very been looking for an inexpensive da. Since I'm 67 and retired I'm on a limited income, so I can't buy the best like you use. I've never used a da before, J-Wax Kit was what I grew up using, by hand of course, but these new polishes are amazing. I love to wax and polish my Jeep and probally will till my health won't let me. But for now, full speed ahead. I love watching your channel and talk about it all the time. Thank you for your vast knowledge and all that you do. Richard

I'm NOT just starting out and I love Apex Detail.
I actually tried a polisher very similar to this with a different name but had the same trigger lock issue. While I don't use this polisher much, whenever I do decide to use it (just because I have it) the trigger lock does piss me off haha.
As you say it needs to go in all the way and not as easy as pushing the thumb on the side of the handle.
Don't think they test these products much In the hands of professionals.

Thanks Brian, like a lot of people here I just started a part time Detailing business. I have said it before your videos are very educational love them. I had a question last video about taksystems coating and they replied back I really appreciate that as well.
