i'm not an american idol fan but some of these singers are really really good. makes me wonder why they werent discover sooner or why someone would turn them down
@amyanda some still believe that women shouldn't preach. I hate it when people say what Christians believe or don't believe- Christians absolutely can not be painted with one broad brush. And there ARE Christians who believe in the zodiac, reincarnation, dream interpretation, faith healing, speaking in tongues, and many other things! God will judge if your heart is right, not other "Christians" who believe that theirs is the only right way to believe.
Carrie wasn't feeling the constructive criticism, it was all in her face AND in her response to the dude at the end; But look at her NOW right? Not for nothing they didn't diss her by a long shot, they still complimented her heavily but gave some honest input into that particular performance. No-one is nor should be above constructive criticism, take it for what it is and move on.
Dude, it's almost too scary how Simon gets those kinds of things right. She ended up a finalist and even won the competition. O.O it's really too bad Simon's leaving this season
i think carrie would have moer staying power because she IS country. country doesnt change much, it evolves. kelly clarkson is in a genre that can do complete 180* turns in 12 months. country is always country. :) just subtle evolutionary changes haha
Kelly Still is but Carries debut was more successful... Carrie might go on to be the most successful. There is no doubt that she embodies the purpose of this show.
umm...the only reason jennifer hudson won a grammy and the oscar was because she got lucky with a great role by an already recognizable broadway production. i'm not even a country fan (i hate it) but seriously, carrie underwood has blown all the other idols out of the picture!
