Great video! Yup, it all depends on where you live. I bought a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with garage plus 2 acres of land for $119,000. Now I am in a flipping nursing home (thanks covid!) and have a roomie. Days are interesting when you are 59 and you buddies are all 80- 90 yrs of age. So, I really appreciate the humor in your videos.
I did basically the same. I'm 56 & Bought a 5 bedroom 2 bath house with a oversized 2 car detached garage on nearly 2 Acres 12 yrs ago for $98.000. Now thanks to covid I'm now losing it to foreclosure because i can't work the amount of hours i use to. Isn't life fun at this age....
@@Lisa-go9zs Sweetheart, life is what you make of it. It's a laugh or cry life and I choose to laugh. A cry heals the soul on occasion but laughter makes you feel better. Heck, I've even made fake poop to prank the staff around the home I live in.

Ow I understand the feeling! In the Netherlands you already pay 100k for a small apartment. Not even a house!
As you know here in the US you can live in a very sought after area all the way to out in the boonies, it really does matter if you have access to good schools, shopping and all of that also jobs. I live in a good part of Vegas, all the way to the mountains and just in the last few years or so the prices have skyrocketed yet are coming down quite a bit in the last few months but you would be looking more at $700,000 for a house that size I’m assuming because they are not telling us how much square footage those houses have and that does make a big difference. I can tell you my house is 3000 ft.² with an inground pool and it is going for $750,000 right now approximately, I hope that helps.
It seems like a relatively new home in a nice neighborhood I would think it would cost anywhere between $350k-$650k. $300,000 doesn’t seem quite right. Unless they are in the middle of nowhere, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Imagine how many elderly could’ve switched their heating on with the money spent on the bill for this
Hubby & I are looking at buying 10 acres of land, then putting a modular house on it. The land is 40k and the house is about $200k, haven't gotten a full pricing of it yet, but will when we go meet up with the company in the spring. It's outside of Las Vegas, about 45 mins to an hour. It's literally a rural town in Nevada
I have to say I honestly wouldn't want to win it. After taxes on the title and yearly property and school taxes, not to mention heating and electric for something that big, house and property maintenance, most people in today's economy could never afford to hang on to it for long.
Yes, for like $350,000 you can get a house 5 bedroom 3 full bathroom big yard with pool here in South Florida
The price of real estate here in the US depends on if u li e in a big city or not. Here in Orlando for a brand new house ur looking at 300k to close to a million or more depending on what u want
Okay....couple things to say here lol The fifth judge was judging lights in the DAYTIME....that seems like a disadvantage right outta the gate lol Also, there are so many variables that go into pricing a home in the states. Location being a huge one. And was this video shot prior to Covid or now? Because Covid flippin turned the housing market upside down over here making it super expensive to get the smallest home. 7 years ago we built our home at about 3300 square feet for appx 360K.

Housing in America are depending the state or city. I live in San Diego (for now) and last time I checked we're the 6th most expensive city to live in America. Last time I checked New York was the most Expensive. And last time I checked what my parents paid for their house would be a tiny single room apartment in New York
Our crappy 3 bedroom 60 year old asbestos home in Toowoomba QLD Australia is valued at $460,000. I do not feel like I live in a near half million dollar home. It’s appalling our housing market.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I know the feeling. I'm facing homelessness on the 28th when the bank sells my house to the highest bidder on the courthouse steps because after covid i can't afford the payments anymore. I hope you & yours have a great Christmas & things look up for you in the new year.

You are getting robbed over there.
For American money m, that's a lot of money 80% of us Americans can even afford. The houses out here are very over priced and the value of the dollar is not the same as the value of a pound. Most Americans don't even make enough to sustain a house at that price or even afford to buy one in the 1st place. It may seem cheap, but in reality, it's really not when u compare it to our usd value.
So an 18 year old wins a house he can’t afford to keep, and all because he didn’t follow the rules. No theme! How hard is that?! Rigged. The first house was amazing and they actually put some thought into it. The 3rd house….not so much 😮
