If I had a premonition, which I hadn't, say 50 yrs ago, that one day two men of color from vastly different origins would sit and talk about their lives, two men with fame and fortune, two men still living out their lives would share just how familiar they are to each other, this video would have been that premonition.
I completely agree with you, it is truly inspiring to see two men of color from vastly different backgrounds come together and share their experiences. It is a reminder that despite our differences, we can all relate to each other's struggles and triumphs. And that their stories and experiences can serve as an inspiration for many. It is a powerful reminder that we all have the capacity to overcome adversity and achieve greatness.❤️

Wow. Life, context, perspective....it's all so interesting! I remember a similar helpless, shocking feeling at around age 5, coming across old geographic magazines and articles that had 1) horrid pictures, close-ups of these poor starving children and 2) gruesome pictures of the holocaust. I'm not sure what that does to a 5 y/o brain when there is no adult to talk to to process that with, but it can't be good.
And, Jay: Your description of what you saw and then hearing people complain about menu options reminded me of the shock I felt coming back from a 3 1/2 week trip to Peru, that included the Amazon. What a culture shock. There was beauty and closeness with nature amid horrid poverty, crime, abuse. Still, time sort of stopped in the Amazon. "Now," suddenly, I'm home in the US, back at work with phones, faxes, meetings with constant interruptions and I am on sudden overload, feeling like I am in a dream watching myself in it all and it is so ridiculous. It can be hard to "snap back" after that.
Trevor,that is the power of the word of God...The Bible. The Holy Spirit gives fresh insight into The Word always ,that's why Christians are to read and study always. Sending love and hugs to your mum ❤💞💕💞💕.

This conversation is so enlightening! By this, I've learnt that, whether a person grew up rich or poor, there's always three factors (i.e inspiration, good mentorship and exposure) that enables children to have a broader view of life and discover their talents earlier. The lack of these three factors in the development stage of a person indicates a big failure in future.
