I just picked up this Trailblazer RS in red. Got all the packages: sunroof, dual-pane, panaramic; Convenience package; adaptive cruise and soumd package; driver confidence package. Really like this vehicle. I also have the fully loaded 2024 Trax 2RS and love that one as well. The difference, other than appearance, I think, are the Trailblazer is a little smoother ride, larger on the inside, the center console and door arm rests are slighltly softer (but not much), power drivers seat in the RS model, but a negative is that the Trailblazer is louder with road noise than the Trax. Really love both of these, of course I got the AWD version of the Trailblazer.
Great review man! Just got an LS with the 1.3 turbo and FWD absolutely love it!! Gotten a lot of compliments on it one thing wish it did have was an overhead view of the car when backing up other than that it’s perfect

I believe the vehicle which I put a deposit on is coming in in the next couple days so ai should know how I really like it when I see it. It's either the Trailblazer or the Trax! I've watched your review a few times it's so good and informative! Are you a salesperson?

@@ChevyCLE I'm so conflicted on which to get. I'm liking the Trailblazer because of the power liftgate which apparently the Trax doesn't come with. I'm a Flight Attendant and hurt my shoulders lifting bags in and out of overhead bins so I'm really drawn to that feature. Which would you choose if you had to?
@@tracinov both are great cars. Ones longer and lower to the ground while the other is shorter and higher off the ground. Power lift gate and the availability of AWD is nice on the Trailblazer. With it having the new interior I do like that option. Can’t go wrong with either one.
Wonder if these are piling up on dealership lots yet like many other makes are. I was looking for one a year ago and you would think it was a Lamborghini with how proud the dealerships were of them, wanting big markups on an economy car.
Better inventory than a year ago but not piling up.
Ah too bad, just searched and looks like Dodge and Chrysler have the biggest inventory at 142 and 127 days. Maybe it'll be like 2009 all over again soon, I got $10.5K off MSRP on a 2009 Ram 1500 when the truck market crashed and then I got $8K off my home purchase which I recently resold for just over double purchase price woo! I hear hybrids are still unobtanium though with markups, something like a year wait on Rav4 Primes, yikes! @@ChevyCLE
I couldn’t see paying $3-4 thousand extra for the 2022 RS vs. the LT (which I have) just to add some interior stitching and a tiny sunroof.
The center console display was exactly the same; the dashboard features (oil life etc.) were more difficult to access, too.
That display definitely needs work; that 2017 Ram 1500 and 2020 Subaru Impreza and used 2019 Ford F-150 which I used to own had very nice/colorful displays (especially when using the USB ports) but the Trailblazer has such a generic look to things.
Basically it is the sister vehicle to the Chevrolet trax minus AWD and the 1.3 motor.

We have a 2021 RS, not much of a difference with the 2024. We will prob keep our 2021 till they do a full redesign. The 1.3 runs really well. We are going for a fully equipped LT with 4wheel drive next time. Why? Because the RS rides like a tank with its low profile tires. Very dependable suv but don't get RS if you don't like stiff bumpy ride

If it had a hybrid and lane centering I'd seriously consider it. These are things the Kia Niro has..

The new blazer and trailblazer are terrible and don’t deserve to have the trailblazer name huge downgrade from the 02-09 trailblazer small cargo, smaller engine weaker transmission, no SS trim just terrible all around
