- There is nothing cuter then a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy... wait... yes there is... WATCHING THEM PLAY IN THE SNOW!!! This is definitely the last snow of winter/spring, just in time for the puppies to get a taste of what it feels like to be a real mountain dog! I can't believe they are 8 weeks old, but it's time for their first round of shots and microchipping! I have been watching your Chanel since the puppies were born. I found it as I was researching the Bernese breed and searching for a breeder across the country, putting our names down and registering our names for a pup with little hope. During the journey of watching these guys grow, my Mum passed away after a long illness. Two days after she died, we received confirmation that we were selected for a Berner pup, a BOY! The day after we buried mum we were on the 13 hr round trip to pick him up. Dad was with us, he nursed him all the way home. I know mum made it happen. We are so blessed and looking forward to this new journey.

We have been searching the Bernese breed as we have had Labradors, one thing that came up was that they only live 6-8 years, half of them die of cancer??? Is this true in your opinion/ experience??!

I saw a Bernese Mountain Dog at the park - I live in Australia - And my friend had a Border Collie. Usually the Border Collie looks big. But boy, the Bernese Mountain Dog was big and beautiful! My mum and I couldn't stop staring at it. It was so agile, yet so playful!

My hundred pound-hound Berner, Quincy-girl......was vaccinated and micro chipped.....before I took her to the dog park where I enjoyed the park as much as she did.....or more, watching her socialize with the others there.....the pleasure was all mine.....I used a doggy non skid ramp on the back of my Blazer to allow her safety in getting down and then up....the “up” came with a full bowl of fresh cool water which she drained and a couple of chewy bones as her treat....then she curled up on my army combat coat....and traded the grass and trees for a nice quiet nap....she will always be my “Quincy-girl”.....!
I love those doggies. I have a tricolor king charles which looks like a smaller version of the Bernese. They are beautiful

Now those are some GORGEOUS Berner pups right there! Like they should all be in commercials and print ads and calendars and stuff! They are so adorable I can hardly stand it... the fact that I don't have one, that is! We lost our Iko 5 1/2 years ago and still miss him SO much, and we're aiming to get another pup one day. Best breed ever!
