q chimba de video, realmente black metal, saber eh escuchar lo primeriso de darkthrone gracias a Peaceville in 1986 es total demencia suerte y no olviden larga vida al metal
I agree with you totally. The Norwegian scene in those days sounded totally unique to their neighboring countries. More of a South American and early North American vibe here..Hail ancient( late 80's/ early 90's) death cult!
...only OUTSTANDING bands are able to deny debut albums like this ... their 2nd life and following ones all derive from a brilliant early spark. Make no mistake, I love the black trilogy and almost everything that came after the panzerfaust period but Soulside is often played in my workchambers. As far as NwgBM goes, I don't usually make any fuss separating waters, but if some band deserved a place on the throne...well you know the answer...
@Betrion thats right, and keyboards are so annoying on the album version of this one. They obviously tried to make it sound more like morbid angel, coven, that was maybe a big influence for them at that time
@Betrion shit i dont even think its called death metal anymore, somthin like hardcore and screamo... thrash/black/death metal is the only true metal anymore
Damn, fukin' kids! Reminds me of early Carnage. Could have easily been as cult as the Nihilist demos. Soulside is still one of the best Dethmetal albums out there.
wowww un clasicazooo...
Excellente! ! Vaya que si es un clasico!
Check out Fenriz's hair!! Classic!
He's a brilliant drummer

this is what i consider true death metal. It REALLY sounds like death, not nowadays death metal which sux..
Nirvana xD ?
They played like Death, Autopsy, Morgoth, etc...nothing to do with the Swedish sound.
jajaja
I hate death metal but death metal of darkthrone is very good, and fenriz on the drum is awesome
