This is the type of tutorial that is needed in the game. I don't only need to know how to push or what to push, I need to know WHY I'm pushing buttons before I just start doing all the things! Thanks for this.
For real, CK3 had a way better one holding you hand.
The most useful thing in this is the "this tool tip is useful" and "don't look at this tool tip" and I love you for doing this. Seems I hals totalt missed the peasants number and was spiraling because of it.
I will need to watch this video about 10 times more before I start a game, my brain is melting

Tried most of the other Paradox grand strategy games. None are as enjoyable as Stellaris. I might buy it on sale.
If you like minmaxing economy, yes. Everything else is barebones right now.

Nice and clean structure, finally someone explained from an overlooking standpoint to see the whole, instead of demonstrating how fast they can machine-gun through all the details.

I played it yesterday for 8 hours. Yes it’s fine, the graphics are good and it’s easy enough to understand. I played a Chile run and will try another later, but I found it too easy on standard settings. The liberal industrial route in politics is just the best way. I only faced one revolution around the 50 year mark and it was easy enough. I wish they improve the military and diplomacy aspect.
My guy Montu teached me how to play Stellaris, now he's teaching me how to play Vici 3
tip for new player watching guide before playing can be very complicated and hard to adapt
i recommend you to play it first just click randomly don't focos too much detail because you gonna get bored
after a few hours of understanding nothing you can come and watch this guide it would be easier to learn

I love Paradox games, however ive tried playing this about 15 times, everytime it makes me feel like im dumb as shit. I still havent completed a walkthrough it always ends with me frustratingly exiting game followed by ordering my favourite takaway to make myself feel better. Now im fat af aswell as dumb as shit ty paradox.

belgium is probably the best nation to start with (again). a small tight knit state and nobody has declared war on me thanks to the uk in the first 30 odd years ive been playing it so i learnt some basic of the economy.
Seebia is great as well. One province to manage and start with turkish protectorate which you can relatively easily leave

Quick question, how do I change the capital state ingame? I'm trying to move my capital to a more central location geographically to an economically similar region for strategic reasons, but idk how to do that. Thanks in advance!

Great video but I would suggest lowering the background music a wee bit.
For now, I'm almost completely lost. Am watching tons of How-to's trying to figure out where all the buttons and information is. And how it all interacts.
Playing the US and following what others do in the same time kinda helped me

It is the simplest and easiest guide of beggeniers i guess this the result of when you go from managing many solar sytem to a planet
nah, Stellaris! although it would be cool if each planet had districts on a global map like this that you would manage, instead of just districts. =p

I enjoyed victoria 2 spend hours in it.... victoria 3 im so confused and i hate how war has been diminished, I can't figure out how to do anything it seems way to micromanagy compared to vic2.
My biggest problem with the game is that I get massive amounts of radicals for decrease in standards of living while I have low taxes and my standar of living is higher that the require show and I don't know how to fix it

It is so, so much complicated, even if i speak english almost as my language (the game is not translated in my language), it seem almost inreachable. Even because the economic stuff are not my cup of tea....
Will Vic 3 be easy if I am already familiar with Stellaris? I only play Stellaris, the other Paradox games I could not learn/get into. I heard that Vic 3 is similar to Stellaris, in the way of mechanics such as pops. How similar is it, for those of you who have experience in both?

Yo I've already watched hours of stuff trying to learn stuff, if I feel confident enough to hit unpause in 20 minutes I'll actually be so happy I might have to give a twitch prime or something at some point in my life I'm kinda broke right now don't ask me why it has nothing to do with buying this game irresponsibly.

subsitution is anti player. it scares you off from upgrading because of bad info. its such a bad UX 9/10 times its just wrong
Why no one has tutorial on prestige.. for anyone new just letting you know if u play as unrecognized power you basically can’t do shit when it come to most if not all diplomatic decisions…
More prestige = more diplomatic actions
Which is ok but what makes it a bitch is that of it says “have 30 prestige to become minor power” that threshold increases as years passes and if you start as unrecognized power you’ll be playing catch up while that threshold stay increasing

Well of course the Vic 3 beginner's guide is only 20 minutes long.
The game's effectively in an alpha state. It won't be until around DLC 3 or 4 that it feels like a full game, just like Stellaris.

speaking of dlc if they drop a thousand individual flavour packs i'm out. we dont need an american flavour pack nor a british one nor a japanese one, just bundle it as hemispheres or continents and streamline it.

Best way to play:
Go to the pause menu, click on "Quit to Desktop" and then launch Victoria 2.
