HOW TO MAINTAIN FINGER COILS

- Two weeks ago I installed finger coils and have been able to keep them in great shape. It's been pretty simple to maintain them and I'm sharing the details in this video

You always do a great job with your hair; per usual, it looks great!😍 My mother gets her short, grey hair finger coiled at a natural hair salon and it looks great on her. Problem is that heir is short so, unfortunately, maintaining it by doing the pineappling (?splg?) won’t be helpful for her. I’m hoping that I could find a way to help her to keep the style a little longer🙏🏾. As you can imagine, that flattening of the coil can be a little annoying, lol. When her her hair grows to a longer length we’ll definitely start utilizing this method. Thanks for always being a helpful resource of information for our beautiful God-given hair. 😊❤️

a bonnet and in the morning if she mists with water and gently fluffer her hair with her hands they will puff back out....she shouldnt have to do anything else and they will get their shape back, if the ends are frizzy she can get some gel/mouse or shea butter and fingercoil that one curl

@@Lily-ow5wmI damaged it, so now I tried wigs for the first time. I bought an afro wig. People like me with my short hair, and my boyfriend does too. I wear the wig when I don’t feel like doing my hair. 😌
@@TooxBlessedToBeStressed I’m honestly so tired of dealing with my hair, I feel like I wigs are starting to be the move. Half of my hair in the back is straight/damaged and I have know idea what to do (I don’t even apply heat). It’s really a struggle😩
with the coils did you shower with a shower cap?
Yes! Pineapple with a scarf then shower cap on top

I twisted it in the other direction which while wet and detangled one at a time
