Game: Path of Titans - Hry
Sucho has always been a good solo dinosaur. You were always big enough to tank hits from smaller foes, and fast enough to escape the apexes. Alongside that you can always retreat to water and catch fish if food is too low
You can also fight apexes as Sucho, I’ve seen a lot of players pull it off.
@@spideyfanw1748 Oh yeah 100%. It's bit squishy but if you know what you're doing you can make sucho a menace
I main a sucho
You all use balanced sucho or?
@@Mrkeen711 I mainly use balanced. Speed sucho is far too squishy but risky against mid-tiers. defense is a good option too but you will be too slow to properly use the water imo
The meg's jumping ability is actually insane, not because of the jump height, but because of just how far you can fall. You can easily fall ridiculous distances, which means you can counter those dinos that take the back-to-cliff strategy.
I think for solo players the best ones are the fast/ high stam ones sins it allows you run away from group ganks wich is the biggest problem you can run into as a solo player
Cerato is a fantastic dinosaur for solo; fantastic stamina, decently fast, surprisinly tanky for its size and has the damage output to punch up with skilled solo Cerato players capable of holding their own against Apexes whether they are official like Rexes or modded like Gigas. The only downside is you will come under heavy fire from other medium theropods in groups especially Allos who will see you as easy meat. You can escape or win these conflicts but it isn't as easy as fighting Apexes.
Agree, my fave carni for solo so far. The jump is op, and you can escape or pursue almost anything. Avoid things with bonebreak and large packs and you’re golden.
@@Mitashade Speaking from someone who has played against the reworked Cera, let me just say that they are the most obnoxious thing to fight in the game right now until Leap gets nerfed.
I've seen players fall off literal mountains and hardly take any fall damage with one. At this point, I just have a KOS on Cera's since their playstyle amounts to "annoying, honey badger played by trolls".
@@Justmonika6969 Ooof yeah those players play rex on my server. I only hunt if something comes into my area when I’m hungry.
I literally fell off the highest pillar in Hoodoo yesterday while doing the ‘parkour’ course and as I fell went “oh this is gonna hurt” and took no damage. Insane. The fact that the jump basically takes zero stam is too good. And my server just buffed them too, so they’re even faster, deal more damage and have great regen. Totally cuckoo. 😂
@@Justmonika6969People who KOS ruin the experience for others so what your doing is just as bad or worse than Ceras being “annoying”
7:44 For megalania, when you take the ability that reduces stam use in water, it also allows you to regen stam in water when not sprinting. Regen also seems much faster than when walking on land.
It's a nice travel trick to hit the water sprinting, out of stam, and then regen while swimming across the lake instead of running around.
Nice video! I would definitely put Sucho on the top, it's semiaquatic, good speed on water, good speed on land, can deal with most of the mid tiers, can avoid apexes, can kill apexes, has a high survival rate as long as you stay close to water. The other ones i not really sure, but i think it might be: Duck, Cerato, Styra and Allo.
ngl I'm a meg player and I recently got into patchy. mind you I'm a solo gamer. Both of these dinos are highly recommended for solo and fun
Actually on ano, u can get 40% extra amour if u pick the species that gives 5% extra amour.
imo pycno is an amazing solo Dino, it’s charge does insane damage and knock back making it impossible to get hit and it’s pretty quick, also has the lone hunter buff sense which gives it a 10% damage increase, can easily take on large apexes and easily outmatches any of the other upper mid tiers.
My solo pycno spent every moment of it's life getting KOS by pachys. Too agile to fight against and I could never outrun them either. Whether I survive is based solely on praying I don't bump into any pachys.
@@yissibiiyte I like to play on Deathmatch as Pycno, for me killing Pachy's is very easy. What I do is back up into a cliff or rock and always face them. Crouching helps me land my bites. Once I was low and had bleed after barely surviving multiple fights, and a pair of Pachy's tried finishing me off but failed miserably, they did some decent damage but not even close to killing me. I ended up killing them both
As a solo player with alot of experience and game time. I agree with sucho and meg. Dasp is on the fence. But only if it's speed. For a single player you really need to focus on survival and escape over damage and health. Speed and water is keywords. So for soloplayers all small and fast Dino's and a few fast mediums. Anos are a deathtrap to new players.
I played meg quite often and never thought hiding in bushes would be so effective. But there was so many times when other players just walked right past me without noticing. So when I solo always go from bush to bush.
I can't wait for AI dinos for single player
When is AI dinos coming to the game?
ill say , just good for a break from other. sick off. Unfair fights getting ganged up on gets annoying after a while
For solo I recommend anything that’s fast and has enough stam to out run packs. As a solo main since the game been released I had to find out the hard way lol it’s not about strength and health it’s about your escape strategy as a solo 😂
That's the issue I've found with meg. He runs really fast but damn does his stam run out fast. If you are in a chase or a fight you are kinda screwed at that point. I've even had my amarg chasing down dasps to death just because they can't out stamina his fat ass.
Same I thought I did good with the lambeosaurus for being tanky but I got double fucked by some pachys and couldn't outrun them so I died in 3 seconds
Last night I saw an ano go against 4 carnis. Idk what they were (new to the game) one was a raptor and one was a dap. I was blown away when the ano won
I actually as a new player gotta give the meg credit. They like an all terrain vehicle just not so good at getting up heights but theres always another way round. Quite easy to grow out in green valley plenty of cover and quests.
Anos tail attack might actually be better than bone break. If megs attack and you cant slam anymore, the bone break will be useless but the tail attack might help even better against faster targets
Anything fast is great for solo and medium speed with medium damage is great too.
yeah i was gunna say Meg is super good for solo play
it can hide in bushes and lose enemy's pretty easy
hop in water for land animals
or go on land for aquatics
theirs just so many options with it lol
What species for him? Speed?
I recommend speed. Defense doesn't matter for smth that isn't gonna rlly fight head on
@Dain - I can’t speak for Urban but I have a defense build on Panjura in case I get caught out in open land solo and find myself in a position where I need to hold my ground. Though I also pair up with a friend who runs speed build alongside my defense to play off each other’s strengths and compensate for any weakness. I Also run a speed build on Gondwa to take advantage of open ocean and navigating river systems while finding myself in water combat more often. The defense build is a beast, speed is agile, and I’ve had great success with both. I can only imagine balanced build is a solid blend and very effective as well. I’d say it’s one of those classes you can’t go wrong with when choosing subspecies. You can always pay the 500 Marks and switch if you feel the need down the line.
@@dainharriott3060 i run a speed build but getting ready to try defense or balance build
im fast but very squishy
@@dainharriott3060 Speed is great, especially if you're sticking to water. I do find myself switching to balanced because speed is just a little bit squishy when caught out on land. But it ultimately comes down to your particular playstyle and how often you want to engage in combat.
i just started this game and my first dino is meg. i was attacked by a pyc in the great plains but i hid in a bush and they actually walked over me tryin to find me. very fun
Unpopular opinion: herbivores should be tanky and op because they are slow making it very difficult to grow and small in weight compared to carnivores (except few) plus they take up more space in groups making it difficult to group up with many herbivores unlike many carnivores.
Plus carnivores are meant to hunt in packs.
So those players complaining that a certain herbivore is too op or tanky oh well, go find another prey then, because it’s not logical to nerf every herbivore to make it easy to kill so they can have fun while the rest don’t.
Most herbs would be in herds so carnival don't have any arguments to make
@@TAYW1997 but still herbs are slow compared to carnivores - venom and bone break which can make them even slower and run out of stamina faster so in my opinions tanky op herbivores is just fair game
Here’s the thing though, most herbs are either too fast or too op already and then when they are in groups it’s impossible to kill them. Herbs should be equally matched to their specific predator, that way it’s left to player skill to win. Also what happens then is all the carnivores have to start either A canabilizing or eating other carnivores because the herbs are too op. And that’s not balanced. Rex and allo are too examples of Dino’s that are now weak af. A speed trike killed two of my friend and I solo and we were all experienced rexs
@@5ives_the_penguin I think a middle ground should be reached where herbs are slightly better than their counterpart, but can still be killed by them if they are too careless.
@@5ives_the_penguin every single tanky or op herbivore is slower than ordinary carnivores (eo, anky, bars, stego, amarg) so I don’t see any problems in speed. As for being tanky and op that comes with the description these dinos are slow least they could be is tanky to fight off carnivores.
If a stego or eo or anky came across 2 dasps, rex, or even spino they’re screwed because they can’t outrun them so least they can do is fight them off and they still get killed.
I think carno players need to stop complaining.
As someone who plays Bars a lot i can say that Bars is really bad against smaller Dino’s like meg, cera because of the nerfed headbutt. But with combat update part 2 it will be changed to the original dmg again + Bars requires the most skill of all the apexes.
I think that cera or pachy should be in this list.
Just change my Meg from balance to def. Killed an adolescent sucho and sub adult spino with half bar left. Theyre the best solo after the update.
How much Haelf did you have as deffend meg?
I don’t even have to watch and I know kent and bars are up there
No kent
Kent is mid
I wish Dasp gets a combat weight and HP buff, it should be somewhere between Allo and Sucho. Irl Dasp was like 10m and 4t, while in game is smaller than Allo (8-9 in game Daps). Also Sucho should receive tough scutes.
Ty I finally know my bars was worth growing it took days to grow
Yay a video for me. I don’t have any friends to play with soooo :D
I’m a meg main use to be Albert. But megs are for sure in top 5 I fight mixpacks with it and they can’t get me cuz I’m to evasive.
1- meg
2- Ano
3-bars
4-Allo/dasp
5-eo
Megs are easy to catch with any semi fast dino lol especially on mobile since the grass is so cheaply animated that you can basically just see things through it, as far as semi aquatics go, sucho outclasses it by a decent amount
@@mattball420 i get it but I fuck up suchos on meg
I Agree With Sucho Being Here Anything That Attacked Me Or Another Sucho Or My Group
Gone…
No Where To Run…
Basically The Doom Music Kicked In
Except for all the faster dinos that have literally everywhere to run lol
True
Spino ez claps sucho
@@GabiteEditz Not anymore
Sty is a slept on solo pick since the update. 👌🏾
Better with group due to buff
@@godlyjayy450 yea but it’s still good solo
Maybe a video what’s the best dino for beginners
I wouldn’t recommend bars for solo players. Ya you’re big and have a lot of health but you’re super slow and will just be targeted by any and all carns.
I got my Amarg to adult stage and was immediately killed by an Ano. Was super annoyed by this lol. So i will switch to something new.
i hope they add for legs by bars is that he can kick with one back leg left or right both cost 100 and do 60 or 57 damage
Just give him a big stomp that causes bone break and 100-150 dmg but with 10 second cooldown. And it can be used while walking like Amarga in the ptb.
@@averagejuliensblogenjoyer7449not sure if he can stomp hadrosaurs are known for kicking and a kick can already kill a human
1.) Speed Pachy 2.) Balance Pachy 3.) Defense Pachy 4.) Speed Alberta 5.) Balance Alberta
UPDATED list: 1.) Kentro, 2.) Pycno, 3.) Alio, 4.) Meg, 5.) Styr
bro but we need to know for the primordial tyrants too:(
I think that the pachy's are pretty good for solo players as they gave them a buff when they're not in a group and they're also pretty speedy and evasive but they also do pretty decent damage especially the +damage subspecies, their thick hide no longer lowers speed and speed hide no longer lowers defence. A +speed subspecies and speed hide is pretty crazy. I've been able to take down sarcos, spinos, rexes and suchos. For a small dinosaur they do quite a lot of damage
So you're one of those pachy hellspawn who keeps murdering every single dinosaur I play as 😅
@yissibiiyte I relativly friendly unless I'm attacked, but if your laying down I just can't resist getting in a cheeky headbutt 😂
@@Stellars_Art well that's a first. A pachy player who isn't the devil himself. They always attack me on sight unprovoked no matter if I'm a carnivore or herbivore. Most OP dinosaur in the game in my opinion
@yissibiiyte I know the feeling them and anos are the absolute bane of my existence
@@Stellars_Art they should give pachys a speed nerf. Give everything a chance to escape them
What build would u recommended for ano
The best solo Dino's are the ones with the highest survival rating
And megs are getting buffed again on ptb. So megs deserved their spot here
Please tell me their stamina will get a bit better?
The first dino i tried to grow was a Ano😂 pain in the ass
Kentro is so OP right now you guys need to try it right now
What makes kentro OP ? And if so what role would you give it ? Like defense, speed etc
Kentro is good
Food
Double defense Kentro
As much as this sounds good, no way a solo player will enjoy path. They going to get jump by groups every chance they are spotted.
As a solo player I can confirm this game is hella depressing sometimes
@yissibiiyte well, you're more than welcome to join me.
I camp home caves as a solo. I do alright
Not really since you can invite ppl to a group easily with the call option, and so far I've never been killed by random group members, Official servers are chill and they kill baby killers regularly lol
Meg 100% for invasiveness. I’ve never had so much success getting away from gangs of Maips, Rexs, Raptors, and those weird dog looking things (probably more this is just what I’ve played against) without much issue so long as I have the stamina to get away/hide lol
I haven’t really played on official servers but Meg is prob one of my favorites on community servers
Why does my Meg have viper strike? They nerf venom bite or sum? It’s a 10sec delay now
Im on mobile so i can only use the raptors, camptosaurus and struthiomimus😢Please make a video on them
There are so many ways to make an actually good dino game but devs just cant do it
My list is allosarus suchomimus daspoletosarus dienochirus and barsbolia
I killed a meg while in the water and I was a carno and it was solo
Don’t agree with the Dasp, I found it pretty underwhelming to play with and seem to get bested by other dinos
So before (old movie)dasp 9 now after update 5 place ?
How do you know all the damage numbers?
To me its ridiculous that Meg receive the “leap” ability. Real monitor lizard and Komodo dragon don’t jump as high as the game portrays it.
They can't jump in real life but are excellent at climbing. A climbing mechanic would be cool if they added it to the game.
The goana we call a racehorse can jump pretty good. Jeez they are fast too, I've heard if startled they run up the tallest thing and if that's you, you're in trouble!
4:22 I just started playing again but my bone snap is gone?
Where is Sarco on this list? If you ambush with full charged bite, you can one-shot a T-rex!
Best build vor Meg?
I just started playing. What about the Sarco. The crocodile thing. Is that good for solo players?
It can be if you get good with his pvp style
@@SIMPLYAMAZINGYTI finally managed to grow my Sarco in Gandwa. I’ve been trying to hunt players but I cannot find a hotspot where players go to drink. I generally stay submurged in the green valley river near one of the homecaves or patrol the waters in big quill lake and nobody is coming for a drink. I feel I should’ve grown the Sarco in Panjura to get more opportunities even though it’s much harder. Do you have any tips of where to hunt players as a Sarco on Gandwa or any hotspots where players go drink?
Pycnos can't be caught. Even has a buff for being solo
pycno is so op and slept on, great dino
Pachys always KOS with my pycno and I can never outrun them
@@yissibiiyte a group will get you but I can solo pachy in 1 v 1 for the most part. They don't have the health and unless they have rocks and cover to climb it doesn't seem like it'll work for em. A open field battle is not in their favor.
Hello do you want to make a clip with defense Dasp build pvp or just Dasp no matter the build but i love the defense one 😊
Pycno is good for solo players too not much can catch you
I main pycno and love it. I had some amazing 1v1 fights. But I just run straigt away when I see a pack of patchys.
I believe the only flaw that pycno has is the fall damage, for the rest is pretty nice.
@@pantheraonca7656 more health would be nice on him tho
do you know a top 10 dino tank?
Velociraptor is good for solo
What map is this
what about spino
Ano is the best for solo
Pycno can kill another easily
Ano needs to be nerfed heavy
Yeah I don't like the ano .. Personally I die all the time again getting ganged up on you just seem to die a slower death
I kind of disagree with the selections/orders for both lists. They seem more like a wishful-thinking list.
Being a great solo creature in PoT depends on one key characteristic:
-Survivability
I don’t even like my list, but it’s definitely accurate without bias.
1. Pachycephalosaurus
2. Camptosaurus
3. Concavenator
4. Pycnonemosaurus
5. Styracasaurus
The dasp is faster than allo and stronger with it's battle about dasp is da best
Guys, what is the best build for sucho? Defense, speed or balanced?
Defense
Game called
Amarg Supremacy
👇
Ano lol people are saying he’s broken!!!! I’ll just be blunt…then quit mix packing traveling in rat packs…then maybe they won’t have to make such a broken ability to counter you guys 😂😂😂
w
Ano
why top 5 and there is 3 dinos?
This is top 3 not 5.
