- The Jandía peninsula, a natural space of extraordinary beauty located at the southern end of Fuerteventura, has the best beaches on the island and possibly the Canary Islands archipelago. The peninsula is linked to the rest of the island territory by the Isthmus of La Pared, which barely reaches 6 kilometers in width.
