Great van of the same type as the once popular Land Rover Hard Top, but with the great advantages of wider access, access from the sides and more compact wheel arch intrusion that are also wider apart. Disadvantage is that if you carry sheep or calves inside, there seems to be nothing to stop smelly liquids from flowing forwards to under the passenger seats or into the electrical compartment under the floor. It is not as washable as the back of the old Defender hard top, which was all alloy and boxed in. However carrying live livestock in the old hardtop was not great for the animals due to those boxed hard wheel arches at their knee height.
Battery cover does look drip proof, but I guess the future pickup variant will more convincingly address animal transport. Mark Evans seems to have vanished as a promoter and he might usefully have added veterinary experiences thought on urine and worse contaminant proofing.

new in terms of cargo area land rover defender hard top better. he has a lot of all sorts of boxes in the cargo compartment. there is not one here !!!
