I LOVE bands from Australia,Canada, France,UK,sweden,germany,Japan, even China has bands now.and listen to even more bands from more countries! Its wild. People only seem to have an issue with it when the artist involved is using auto-tune or 'current pop' tropes but metalcore and post-hardcore took from pop more than any other genre I can think of, besides indie rock maybe. Nothing wrong with it though, it's a proven formula that works across a whole range of different genres.

I was surprised at the fact that I could hold a pretty nice, discretely loud fry scream for long enough without feeling any pain, which was what occurred when I used to practice it the wrong way. False cords are still hard af though. I'll keep practicing until I make some relevant progress, eventually :) thanks again and greetings from Italy

Neil Mark haha, I mean as far as shred goes, I've never heard someone do a 7 string sweep but I do know of players adding the 7th to chords for extra range, but I believe it is possible for you to tune your 6 string down to this tuning, it would simply be F#,C#,F#,B,E,G# and you would need a near-insane gauge of strings to handle the drop, I just got a pack of ernie ball mammoth slinky with a .62 for the low E string so we will see how that handles
