- We love building these things, so we decided to make a diy video that will walk you through step by step of the process. It's a fun project to do with your kids and the possibilities are endless. Best of all, you can make them for less then 20$! These karts are surprisingly durable and since they are cardboard, they are also fully customizable.

Hi! I am building a cart for my kiddo for school due on Tuesday. Need your help!!! I could barely understand how to secure the straps. do you have a better video that shows how to add and tie the ropes properly? Paint is on and waiting to dry def a 3 day process for me going on 4...please help

Ok I know this video is old but in my search it was the first one on the list.... Can I say thank you so much because now that we are in quarantine my kids are so board and instead of having them on video games all day I decided to do cars like this with them and they are loving the whole process!! So far we have done Venelope treats race car and a pink Shopkins beetle.

Awesome video, and I'm hoping to give it a try! Any advice on how to make a spoiler?? (I'm making the Princess Peach car)
make sure the spoiler is nice and secure. Check out the video in the description that shows all 12 carts. at 8:09 it shows the peach cart. At 9:01 in that video you can see the spoiler i had made for the original mario bullet bill kart and as you can see i had to take it off because it was sagging in the middle

Thanks! We put a lot of work into making our videos. We have another big project video we keep trying to shoot, but it keeps raining or snowing on the weekends. Hopefully this weekend we'll get to do it

Hello, for this one we used the 22x22.5x22 Extra Large Box from HD. It is one of our larger karts. If you see our other kart video, we made some smaller versions for the girls (like our cheep cheep kart). Pretty much any size will work, go to the store and hold up a few boxes around your waist line to see how big they will be.
Alan Shepherd 18x18x24 large was the other size box we used for some of the other karts

How long did it take you to put this all together?
vgarcez77 some of the karts took longer then the others, but the toad cart took about 2 days (mostly due to waiting on the paint to dry). I bet I could build one in about 5 hours
vgarcez77 we are building some more in June. Maybe I will live stream the process

techsknow this one took me two days 3-4 hours per day
We will be building one for my sons kindly 500. But it will be a mickeys roadster racer.
