    Much better hospitality and far more class than LSU.

    I would love to see A&M have a formation with the Texas State flag/Lone Star added to their routine! Preferably at home where they don't have to scrimp on band numbers since they don't travel with underclassmen. Overall, they are amazing! From an LSU Tiger alum

    A&M was rated the #1 College gameday experience by BOTH Sports Illustrated and ESPN. Our University has more traditions then any other University in the country. Our freshmen have to come to school a week early to attend Fish camp. A week of indoctrination to the Aggie ways. There is no more spirited University steeped in deep traditions than Aggieland, and Kyle Field is indeed the # gameday experience. I welcome you to Aggieland. We are a hospitable group and you will enjoy your experienc

    Thanks Jake...Our heritages are very much alike...Bama and Aggies are of the same fabric...We will try and should meet your hospitality and sportsmanship in Aggieland!

    Bama fans will feel just as welcome next year at Kyle Field as the Bama fans made Texas A and M fans feel. Two very traditional school. Both with a great fan base. It's fun to go to a game where you haven't been before and see the different pre game traditions.

    Great game and great fans there at Bama. The noise level was up there with Kyle Field several times during the game, but everyone remained civil... unlike LSU. What a tremendous venue for football. I hope Kyle Field will be up to this standard after the $450 million dollar upgrade during the next 3 years. Great Game.. and Gig'Em.

    I think you will have a great time. If you are not familiar with A&M traditions you will truly enjoy arriving early and watching the Cadets march into the stadium with one of the finest College bands in the land.

    welcome to the SEC Aggies...you guys played an incredible game and definitely claimed your spot in the most amazing conference!!! your team is amazing and so is your band :) ROLL TIDE!

  • @Altoclarinets
    @Altoclarinets Před 11 lety

    Roll Tide. I had some friends visiting from A&M (I'm from TX), and we went out to eat after the game- every Bama fan that came up to us was very polite and congratulated them on the win. I'm really looking forward to the Kyle Field trip next year... though I think it will be a rather intimidating environment.

    Big House there at Bama. A marvelous day in SEC country, especially for Aggies.

  • @Altoclarinets
    @Altoclarinets Před 11 lety +1

    Yeah... unlike LSU we don't boo the opposing team's band as a stadium. (the MDB was greeted with a rousing chorus of boos at halftime in Death Valley... I know this because I'm in it.)

  • @crosstxweed

    One thing for sure, 'Bama has one of the most beautiful stadiums

    Wow, look at how many actually watched the halftime! Is this normal for Alabama games?

  • @Commandoj251

    i was at that game. Not only did their team beat us fair and square but their band kicked our bands ass too... roll tide anyway

  • @robertridley1029

    I'm amazed that so many Bama fans stayed in their seats at halftime. That doesn't strike me as a place where they care about marching bands

  • @stevedouglass7223
    @stevedouglass7223 Před 11 lety +1

    Because another 120 Corpsmen and intruments is expensive to transport and house for an away game.

    This was only 2/3 of the full band. But, it was a great performance.... both halftime and the game!

    However, I wll say Alabama is a great University, awesome environment, nicest people and awesome team! Plus we both share the Bear!
    Roll Tide! Gig Em Aggies!

    why dont we have more people like you who respect other teams? i love the vols, yeah we suck right now, but we will get better. As for bama good luck against the fighting irish i hope you win. GO SEC

  • @ttiger1999
    @ttiger1999 Před 11 lety

    Why is the band smaller than home games? As an LSU Tigah fan, I am a fan of this team, its band and traditions. Well done!
    Question: What does aTm and the moon have in common?
    Ans: They both control the Tide! (An old one from LSU circles but still good!)
    Geaux Tigahs, Go Ags/SEC

    I love where you are going with this but I'm sorry to say that the FTAB is much better than the already impressive "red coat band". Please don't take this as an insult. Both bands are amazing but the FTAB literally doesn't miss a step.

  • @neverendingnewport
    @neverendingnewport Před 11 lety +1

    Why so much hate? It is game day and no one in the south with a brain should cuss out either teams band. Really? The AGS have a band that stands out above the rest. Football is football, we'll all get mad and get glad and get loud and obnoxious. But these kids work hard for what they do In between plays. We're America right now. Before long us southern states will be our own nation, and Texas will be the money maker and therefore the Capitol. Don't believe me? Turn off your tv and research.

  • @UAJAKE82
    @UAJAKE82 Před 11 lety

    well, i can be a bit obnoxious when it comes to gameday but it's all in fun. at the end of the day it's a sport. it isn't life or death. i love my Bama but i also do respect the traditions for other teams. i mean come on, it's Texas A&M...not Auburn or LSU...if so i wouldn't have been so welcoming and nice...haha...just kidding...kind of ;) Merry Christmas!

  • @littlegerman12
    @littlegerman12 Před 11 lety

    Really? show me how the tea sip high school band can compare to the FTAB -- only A&M can do what they do (any high school can do what the "show band of the southwest" does) --- every week is a completely different more complex routine and new music (T-sips are lucky to change one song)

  • @kmills62
    @kmills62 Před 11 lety

    Only every time they played Texas, that's the only time they lost.

  • @wasabi1787
    @wasabi1787 Před 11 lety

    Pretty tame performance from the band. Kyle Field gets much better. This was mostly simple stuff. Except at 3:00.
