Perfect timing, I just started this boss :-) I did some experimenting with chain lightning and flamewalker but they didnt see as effective as harpies and whelp eggs. Taking the tower on the left was critical for my wins.
Get it! Flamewalker seems like it should be good, but I feel like he always gets gibbed. I'm a bigger fan of batrider for the cost and the flying aspect. Not exactly a 1 for 1 comparison, but they serve similar roles.

I managed to do it, but not with chickens. Pyromancer level 25 on defence and the rest as in the video. Cheat death is great for harpies.
Took me 2 hours to win with Undead family.
I almost tried some cheat death. Good idea for this style
Many guides dont work now, i have 149 sigils now, but i can't win this mission with any families. safe, wheip were nerfed, maybe i can kill onyxia first before i get the last sigil
Yeah. Those nerfs were rough. I know SAFE was nerfed before this video. Not sure about welp eggs though. That was right around here. I still think welp eggs are super good, and always playable.
Did this mission today, it's possible if you have high level on key units.

general drakkisath: used my onyxia team, so didn't do this strat, a single push killed baron, +28 general drakkisath, +25 frostwolf shaman, +25 ogre mage
grommash: +27 eggs, +27 harpies, +24 execute, +24 earth elemental, +21 quillboar
baron rivendare: +27 eggs, +27 harpies, +21 execute, +21 earth elemental, +24 quillboar
Even with lvl 27 eggs, the skeltons don't get 1 shot, so you have to time it well with a tank. Manipulate the deck (switch units between slots) until you have harpies in your starting hand. Also try to get eggs and a tank early
1) Drop harpies instantly at start
2) Drop eggs on skeletons when they are close enough to tower so the whelps helps to attack tower after killing the skeletons
3) Drop earth elemental (or quillboar) directly after the eggs (should be before the harpies reach the tower)
If timed correctly and lucky with enemy units, you have will have all harpies alive, and in best case 1 or 2 whelplings alive
4) Drop quillboar (or earth elemental) on boss before your army reaches him
5) Use execute when you can cover both your army and the boss
I had to restart many times when enemy ogre mage spawned, or I misstimed eggs / tank. If your harpies die, then you are unlikely to succede with this strat. I always died before I could send a 2nd set of harpies to boss. I used bandits as 6th unit only to cycle deck, and I never deployed the leader.
It's probably one of the toughest fights. You gotta play real well and it generally goes to OT. One mistake can really kill ya

Yeah this map plays so differently than here. So many ogres and necromancers with catapults
Yeah right. so much fun... where is your Baron spawning Meat wagons and plague farmers... my Baron plays it completely different :/
Fun is relative I suppose, lol. He's annoying for sure. Once you figure out his timing and get a little lucky, he's not too bad at least
Can i cheat it underleveled? My minis are 21 ~ 22 and i Just cant atack and defend at the same time. Is there any easyeast way to do?
It's worth a shot if you want to push it. You're gonna have to get a bit lucky and play perfect would be my guess
