No offense and not to seem overly critical but I feel like this guide doesn’t take into account how far ahead you are on your account. I’m not sure if you were an early access player but either way you appear to be very far ahead of the average player. I’ve been grinding pretty hard myself and I’m second in my guild and I’ve only got 2 level 20 heroes. Your strategy does appear to be sound but it would’ve been helpful to highlight the average level of your minis when you completed this so new players could gage where they are and access how achievable it is. I think what you’re presenting is unrealistic for the average player but you’re presenting it as something anyone can do.
The level of the minis does matter, but he's at least telling you what units you should focus on to help you along the way. Which is probably more critical if you are a f2p.
Thanks for the reply! I think everyone can do this, and can do it as free to play. I generally always cleared maps when my units were a level under the map, sometimes 2 levels, just depends on the role of the mini I used. Leaders other than my main (sneed) were generally extremely under leveled, by 5 or more. You never actually have to play your leader to beat the map, which is what I was getting at, you just need to use them to head an army. Thanks for watching, I appreciate that you're here ❤️

Most are at 16-18 lvl, few at 20 and getting those extra 5 lvls takes way longer then first 18-20 esp without epic. Like idea to use mostly same units is still good and is what I am doing but f2p is def nowhere close to clearing all heroic and that is why I think they are saying it's bait.

I’m new to the game, watched tons of YT videos and gotta say your videos are the absolute best of the best in my opinion, the most helpful! I have just gotten stuck in my heroic stages but now I am very much unstuck 🙌
Loving your vidoes! I would just say as somebody who is f2p and just recently completed all the normal missions, I think it's better to buy all the characters first before talents. You will get levels much faster, the higher you go the faster you go and you don't need any talents to complete the normal missions, getting you up to when you level 11-13. Then having that extra gold rewards means you can get lot of talents quickly off the early easy heroics! Also the 3second dying stun on defias bandits works on bosses too, can give a lot of extra time to potentially drop more things.
Love the defias bandit tech, seems solid! I do think you should unlock all the minis, but make sure your not sacrificing stars from your main team in order to get them all. Collection level is important, but not at the cost of getting you team working properly, at least in my opinion. Thanks for being here!
Hopefully looking at making some soon, but it's hard to go back and do them again with high level minis without seeming super cheesy. Solid advice. I stalled out on the regular campaign but I'm overleveled for the beginning of the heroic campaign. Now I can go clear the early heroic and get a windfall of gold to afford talents for all my new uncommons 😁.

You absolutely can level everything for collection level if you want, it's just a very long grind. Definitely get your units your using to uncommon before anything so get them a talent and some levels. After that focus on getting the stars you see in the shop for your core minis to rare, while getting other useful units to uncommon along the way. Thanks for watching!

Man. I never thought about needing to make an A-Team to lvl quicker. My main leader has been a big reason I pushed that unit so far and now all the others can't do much.
I completely agree, just I would add: -Gryphon Rider instead of Darkspear Troll. -Worgen as a third alternative to your unbounds, especially if DPS is needed -Rabid Gnoll Brute as an alternative to Prowler if extra AoE is needed -Hunteress as an ""alternative"" to Drake.
It just gives the unit 1 extra level, so its really just whale bait to be honest. It costs a legendary core and 20k arclight energy to do. I've got a couple cores and can upgrade a few units, but if I did that I would run out of arclight energy fast, and I would rather have more epic units. Will maybe use them after I see what raids bring. Thanks for watching!

Extra rarity and extra talent gives a level each, so pushing rarity on the minis you use is important. Mainly just getting the leaders that aren't your main to uncommon is so you can play them in pvp if you want to. Can absolutely play them at grey with no talents and do this. Thanks for watching!
Sometimes they pop up in the shop for gold, some of the zone bundles have them in them, but you can also get them from pvp rewards if you go high enough. Thanks for watching 😁

I listend to the other youtubers and I bought all the Mini's first now i only have 1 mini that have a talent in a Level 11 Dack I don't think it's so but it would have been better if i focused on 4 minis At least befor spending golden on other units That why I would have progressed faster in the campaign or not i dont now How much the extra levels of the collection Level will make a difference

@@TheArclightBattery I am using Blizzard, SAFE, dark iron miner, whelps, the shaman and the earth elemental I am pushing to replace the earth elemental because he only ever dies without getting very far away so it will leave me 3 gold less and I think the footmen will be more valuable than the earth elemental
@@porungadaddy9053 Earth elemental has very specific uses, like turning the boss around and tanking it just before a big push gets to the boss. Try swapping him with quilboar and only using quilboar to distract things that are a threat to your incoming pushes.maybe replace the miner with some sort of cheap flying support. Maybe gryphon rider, or harpies. Drake if you don't have either of those. Hopefully that will help. Just focus on getting a push going, protect it from threats, and then turn the boss around before your push gets there.

Appreciate your video, I whaled my units to half rare and half uncommon, it's reassuring to know that we are at similar progression. but I only played since global launch, so a lot of my leaders don't have the upgraded slots and stays at common... I find that once I get those slot upgrades and leader rarities it becomes so much easier for the faction. It's kind of a choice to clear them right now but spend extra hours to min max the build on each boss, or just wait for a few weeks and dominate them with a random build.
Thanks for being here! It can be tough to clear heroics early, but once you figure them out, they are a super solid source of one time XP, so it may be worth it 😁
Thank you for these videos, they are a great help!! but I have to make a clarification to you The level you will face will change color based on the level of your leader ...But not only that the number of enemies change. Iv noticed this by watching videos on how to beat a dungeon... and i realized that I have different difficulties, mine compared to that of the video in question changed the quantity of minis in battle a lot.. i was try to beat Volchan (lvl15) from about 1 week with the same deck ive changed my baron (lvl11) with my cairne (lvl 17) and THIS CHANGED EVERYTHING the boss dungeon changed from RED TO GREEN and mob spawned was TOTALLY DIFFERENT and the number of theme cange DRASTICALLY ... i was try this fucking boss about 50 times then I've found this.
Or, you end up like me. No Beast leader, because it was never offered. Stuck at 75 sigils, because I can't complete Heroics on all leader types. Leader Choice rewards now locked behind sigils, which I can't acquire. Such a massive design flaw. I'm guessing I just have to wait for a Beast leader to be offered for sale or quit the game.
Talents come when you get a unit to uncommon. So you need to buy 4 copies of a unit to get it there. Just keep playing through the normal campaign and you'll definitely get some! Let me know if you need any help 😁
I've only bought the zone bundles the shop offers you and the arclight booster. Also spent bnet balance on the game that I have from WoW gold, but I haven't spent that much, just been playing for a couple of months. Thanks for watching 😁
Doing dungeons will upgrade those slots. Each level you complete gives you another upgrade, so make sure you're doing the dungeon each week on every hero you can to try and max out your slots. Thanks for watching!
How the hell do you beat sons of arugal heroic on beast decks? Can win trades all day but get stomped anyway by the swarms & huntress. Any time get ahead ai cheats with free blizzard
What beast leader do you use, and what minis do you have that you use as well? Bat rider is really good on this map, and you could try and turn around huntress with Earth Elemantal of Quilboar. Dont put too much on the map and try and respond more to what the map is doing so you dont get the blizzard on a large group of your minis. Let me know, and thanks for watching! 😁
Wow ty you where on the money about bat rider. Even at lvl 14 common he was mvp finally cleared it after 50 attempts. Poor murkeye benched entire run. Harpies, wolf, Earth ele, whelps, safe pilot with bat boy
At 126 sigils light spender sub $50 inc booster. Cleared most of hinterlands but I found this stage massively overtuned. Have to restart if you mess up any waves . Tried building around flamewalker to great results at first but it was too expensive to sustain and over reliant on units to knock things out of stealth in front.

The only main trick to this game is pad all your minis with loads of cash for specific abilities cookie cutter builds/heros or grind for 20 years gated of course. P2W trash doesnt matter how strategic or skilled you are padding with cash is required by default. Try it free and come back and let me know how far you get.

"Fast" - LOL this advice only works for someone who is going to dump hundreds of dollars in to the game. You can't just do heroics with wimpy Mini's. They need to be levelled and upgraded.

I just took my calculator out. If u need 7 lvl 27 minis to beat Onyxia then U need like 350000 quests to get them there. 20 Quests per day means fun for at least 50 years. Pathetic, and i even paid 30€ already. Hows that even fun

@@Anthus42069 it's all good, no offense taken. I really did use harpies/execute bloodlust combo to clear mostly every single heroic. It's all about protecting harpies until they get to the boss, and once that happens the map ends in seconds. In my dungeon guide videos, I'm trying to showcase more units than I normally use for the sake of better content, but harpies will clear everything practically. Even on the last heroic zone, general drak, rend, and emperor are 20~ second fights with harpies at a level disadvantage. I wish I had been making content as I was playing, but hopefully when the new zone comes out I can showcase some heroic clears. Thanks for watching 😁

I actually preparing a mini team like around 3 or 4 days to complete and your focusing minis cant help with that fight for short this is just show off video not reality.If you free to player all advices are garbage because you cannot progress you cannot level up your minis even in pvp xp giving is random if you win.
Bandits are a 1 gold mini that will stun the boss so your units can do more damage before dying, get you 2 more gold when opening a chest, and help you cycle back to what you actually want to play. You absolutely need talents, and should be focusing on them if you are free to play, it's not terribly hard to get them. PvP XP is random, but it's random to what's in your current army, so use your minis you want to level in pvp. I don't believe the game has had any significant changes in pve from soft launch, but may make a free to play series where I replay the campaign and help where I can. Thanks for watching!
Blizzard is just p2w today. BS just like all the guides for PvE and PvP. I was really excited for this game, but its bullshit and p2w just as expected from Blizzard. It will take like 375000 quests to get my minis to where i need them for Onyxia, thats like 50+ years. Thats a real calculation with a 30€ start. Stupid AF. But i guess if everyone realizes this just AFTER paying and playing for days then Blizzard won already. I was such a big fan of wc3 and d2, look what blizzard is nowadays...
"Horde doesnt have very good units" Bro what?? My main 2 heroes are horde and not only does Cairne clear an entire map, is one of the tankiest units and has a stun every time he attacks, but the shaman can singlehandley heal up tanky units, while using a chain lightning ability that does great ranged damage, and the ogre is he best aoe caster in game being a unit that can bloodlust himself and other units as well. Like what are you talking about man? The duo sapper units are also amazing for certain maps and can turn the tide of battles. The grunt tanky units are really good and can also bloodlust when a brother goes down. Have you just not used these? These are hands down some of the best units in game. Bar none.

Appreciate your video, I whaled my units to half rare and half uncommon, it's reassuring to know that we are at similar progression. but I only played since global launch, so a lot of my leaders don't have the upgraded slots and stays at common... I find that once I get those slot upgrades and leader rarities it becomes so much easier for the faction. It's kind of a choice to clear them right now but spend extra hours to min max the build on each boss, or just wait for a few weeks and dominate them with a random build.

How were you leveling up 12000 or more of XP though when we only get like 68 to 200 xp a go? My stuff is stuck at 17 / 18 right now.
Heroic times give you a big boost, and mostly through farming pvp. Quests are a waste of time unless they are rare or epic
U can only get 15k Gold for all heroics u spend more than that for ur Minis. So dont Tell Others U dont pay to win.

Iv noticed this by watching videos on how to beat a dungeon... and i realized that I have different difficulties, mine compared to that of the video in question changed the quantity of minis in battle a lot..
i was try to beat Volchan (lvl15) from about 1 week with the same deck ive changed my baron (lvl11) with my cairne (lvl 17) and THIS CHANGED EVERYTHING the boss dungeon changed from RED TO GREEN and mob spawned was TOTALLY DIFFERENT and the number of theme cange DRASTICALLY ... i was try this fucking boss about 50 times then I've found this.

Or, you end up like me. No Beast leader, because it was never offered. Stuck at 75 sigils, because I can't complete Heroics on all leader types. Leader Choice rewards now locked behind sigils, which I can't acquire. Such a massive design flaw. I'm guessing I just have to wait for a Beast leader to be offered for sale or quit the game.
They come in the grid when its beast dungeon week, but still 1 and a half week away... it sucks but at least u can get them

Talents come when you get a unit to uncommon. So you need to buy 4 copies of a unit to get it there. Just keep playing through the normal campaign and you'll definitely get some! Let me know if you need any help 😁

Doing dungeons will upgrade those slots. Each level you complete gives you another upgrade, so make sure you're doing the dungeon each week on every hero you can to try and max out your slots. Thanks for watching!

How the hell do you beat sons of arugal heroic on beast decks? Can win trades all day but get stomped anyway by the swarms & huntress. Any time get ahead ai cheats with free blizzard
What beast leader do you use, and what minis do you have that you use as well? Bat rider is really good on this map, and you could try and turn around huntress with Earth Elemantal of Quilboar. Dont put too much on the map and try and respond more to what the map is doing so you dont get the blizzard on a large group of your minis. Let me know, and thanks for watching! 😁
Wow ty you where on the money about bat rider. Even at lvl 14 common he was mvp finally cleared it after 50 attempts. Poor murkeye benched entire run. Harpies, wolf, Earth ele, whelps, safe pilot with bat boy
At 126 sigils light spender sub $50 inc booster. Cleared most of hinterlands but I found this stage massively overtuned. Have to restart if you mess up any waves . Tried building around flamewalker to great results at first but it was too expensive to sustain and over reliant on units to knock things out of stealth in front.

The only main trick to this game is pad all your minis with loads of cash for specific abilities cookie cutter builds/heros or grind for 20 years gated of course. P2W trash doesnt matter how strategic or skilled you are padding with cash is required by default. Try it free and come back and let me know how far you get.

"Fast" - LOL this advice only works for someone who is going to dump hundreds of dollars in to the game. You can't just do heroics with wimpy Mini's. They need to be levelled and upgraded.

I just took my calculator out. If u need 7 lvl 27 minis to beat Onyxia then U need like 350000 quests to get them there. 20 Quests per day means fun for at least 50 years. Pathetic, and i even paid 30€ already. Hows that even fun

@@Anthus42069 it's all good, no offense taken. I really did use harpies/execute bloodlust combo to clear mostly every single heroic. It's all about protecting harpies until they get to the boss, and once that happens the map ends in seconds. In my dungeon guide videos, I'm trying to showcase more units than I normally use for the sake of better content, but harpies will clear everything practically. Even on the last heroic zone, general drak, rend, and emperor are 20~ second fights with harpies at a level disadvantage. I wish I had been making content as I was playing, but hopefully when the new zone comes out I can showcase some heroic clears. Thanks for watching 😁

I actually preparing a mini team like around 3 or 4 days to complete and your focusing minis cant help with that fight for short this is just show off video not reality.If you free to player all advices are garbage because you cannot progress you cannot level up your minis even in pvp xp giving is random if you win.
Bandits are a 1 gold mini that will stun the boss so your units can do more damage before dying, get you 2 more gold when opening a chest, and help you cycle back to what you actually want to play. You absolutely need talents, and should be focusing on them if you are free to play, it's not terribly hard to get them. PvP XP is random, but it's random to what's in your current army, so use your minis you want to level in pvp. I don't believe the game has had any significant changes in pve from soft launch, but may make a free to play series where I replay the campaign and help where I can. Thanks for watching!
Blizzard is just p2w today. BS just like all the guides for PvE and PvP. I was really excited for this game, but its bullshit and p2w just as expected from Blizzard. It will take like 375000 quests to get my minis to where i need them for Onyxia, thats like 50+ years. Thats a real calculation with a 30€ start. Stupid AF. But i guess if everyone realizes this just AFTER paying and playing for days then Blizzard won already. I was such a big fan of wc3 and d2, look what blizzard is nowadays...

Bro what?? My main 2 heroes are horde and not only does Cairne clear an entire map, is one of the tankiest units and has a stun every time he attacks, but the shaman can singlehandley heal up tanky units, while using a chain lightning ability that does great ranged damage, and the ogre is he best aoe caster in game being a unit that can bloodlust himself and other units as well. Like what are you talking about man? The duo sapper units are also amazing for certain maps and can turn the tide of battles. The grunt tanky units are really good and can also bloodlust when a brother goes down. Have you just not used these? These are hands down some of the best units in game. Bar none.
