    I love the reading 6 chime. Also I like C&O 614.

That would be cool. Keep in mind though that many railfans view CSX as an "anti-steam railroad." Someone better stand in to help with 614's move if there are plans to restore it. Norfolk Southern would be delighted to do it!

I'd love to see/hear NKP 765, NKP 759 (if she ever gets rebuilt), N&W 611, Southern 630, UP 844, SP 4449, or SP&S 700 with the Reading 6 Chime used by ol' 614 in this video.

I wish that the 614 was running again. It could be the backup engine for the 1225 if the SRI buys it

I know this is late but SRI would never buy it.

I was only a baby at the time but for how long did they run excursions with the C&O 614?? And for what occasions did they run excursions on the Port Jervis Line???

Hope they find a place to restore 614 somewhere else.

Why does it have to be stuffed and mounted? It’s a shame that CSX has no interest in steam excursions right now and NS stopped hosting the new 611 excursions. But, the coaches on this were mostly modern NJT coaches with non opening windows. But they allowed vestibule riding with the tops of the doors open and a coach had open windows a silver one. If they would have rented several Susquehanna coaches the ex-Long Island ones they have windows that slide open. Some of them are at Phillipsburg now.
