They will play a radio near the vent to give the thought, that there are people inside working. It's meant to deter trespassers. I did security for a couple of abandoned schools.
It's a little infuriating how medical equipment, *expensive* medical equipment is just sitting there, when it could be used in places where it's needed. Same with a lot of the medical supplies left there. Man!
RosewoodRoyal sadly its a money thing. People would,rather waste then help, though some of this equipment maybe outdated. But im sure someone could benefit
It enrages me. In my country, medical equipment is often damaged or malfunctioning, and supplies are either unexistent or hard to get. In fact, the hospital does not provide them in a majority of cases and you or your family must get the supplies for any proceedure. And I mean *any*. Even the most basic ones, like taking blood samples.
Now you know why health care is so expensive kiddos, waste, misuse of resources and exorbitant difference of “cost” to what is actually charged to patients for medical billing. Health care is a cash cow 💰💰💰💰

I agree with you, but there might be other reasons too.
Asbestos and mold stick to the equipment, so do other toxins which might benot be removable. Some people experience harsh reactions to said things, so it might be a safety hazard to take the tainted equipment to an another place. Although this is not what has happened in some cases.
Well, whatever may be the case, it's a shame that the equipment and supplies are being wasted. But at least the reason you've offered is a pretty valid one.
That really pisses me off how in so many of these places, they just leave all the expensive equipment... some hospitals in 3rd world countries and shit could really use them... and that’s so scary how the radio was still on. That means people were recently there

Imagine - if it it's a time loop. They are doing repairs in the past (back when the hospital was open) and Josh with the team is exploring the already abandoned hospital - for some unknown reason (a time paradox perhaps) he turns of their damn radio and that starts the whole chain reaction for the hospital to be closed in the first time. Eventually the hospital gets closed - then Josh comes - and the process repeats itself.
I'd make sure nothing but Christian music plays. let's see if they come near. na jk yhe probably dont care unless your faith is strong

The bag that contained blood is used to connect to a urinary catheter it holds urine. That bag was most likely filled with bloody urine from a patient. It’s a “leg bag.” That bag comes with ties that loop through the four corner holes and it gets tied around the leg so you can pee on the go. It’s used by people with chronic catheters or using a catheter for a small period of time outside of the hospital. I know this because I’m a nurse and my dad also uses one bc he has a urostomy.

That was definitely a blood bag! The blood was semi-congealed, a natural process for being just left like that with no access to air. Kinda disappointing about the smell in the morgue. A well kept morgue won't smell that bad. Kinda makes you wonder what their health & safety was like.
I watched Silent Hill as a kid and I think it’s the main reason I’m so interested in abandoned places and the stories behind each building. The audio was very fitting for the video.

Its pretty common for people to leave things on like radios or TVs in their houses so that it sounds or looks like someone is in there to deter would-be robbers. It's most likely that someone was living down there (you could see the cat litter box) and left their radio on for that reason.

There was a hospital near me that I was given birth in and a few years after was shut down. When I turned 14 years old, I gave'd it a visit since it was abandoned. I went with my friends and we could hear voices, we were like "Wtf?" So we left. 3 years later, I find out it was going to get demolished. It's been a year now. Yo had you didn't get to explore it

I kind of feel bad for the building itself it seems to be in pretty good shape tho structurally it has other things to say when it comes to its age and there is probably water damage from Bad pipes and termites that you can't see and the power still on
And although the cost to build a new one is probably way more they would rather do that then repurpose this one

Gotta be careful with that place dude. Power still on, and a water pipe burst is a bad combo. Place can catch on fire at any time as soon as that water touches something electrical. If it does, they may try to find a way to blame you guys for it. Either by saying arson, or for not reporting the pipe burst.
