Low mileage ZR2 models are quickly becoming darlings in the 4x4 off road collector circuit.
Nice. I have a 94 s10. Just restored it. It’s nice too see these kind of videos.
+90s Car guy. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Thank You! I'm second owner of a 95 s10 which just hit 104k I want to keep up as did the 1st owner but worry about being taken advantage of because of my gender. I am very mechanically inclined and have serviced my cars in the past, still with all you've shown here I can negotiate service with confidence. Awesome,.

Good thorough inspection always pays off at the end thank you for the guidelines.
I’ve got 320,000 miles out of my 2000 Chevrolet doing the same type of inspections and seal repairs as needed. And she still runs like a champ!
I bought my 01 s10 zr2 new and have 320,330 on it and still my daily
Damn. I wish I had that kind of luck. I just had the fuel injector spider assembly replaced at a shop and now it's trying to give up the ghost and it has about 178k miles on it. It's misfiring extremely badly and the SES light is flashing over and over.
@@SalandFindles spark plugs wires and replace the whole distributor
You guys have the best videos! I wish there was more 2nd gen Tacoma videos though!
Thank you for these videos! Love this channel 💪🏾
+Jae B. Thanks for the feedback!
Excellent video, I would like to add 2 issues if I might. First of all there a still stickshift trucks out there. So you might want to add checking the clutch fluid. The next issue is one that I believe is very important and that is the MAF, you did brush over that, but I believe consumers should know how import maintaining and cleaning the MAF is. I believe it is the single most critical componet on the vehicle. Easy to maintain and clean. Just my opinion.
Thanks! This was super helpful and enjoyable.
Hey guys I really find your channel useful and it has helped me alot I feel like you jumped over mentioning vacuum lines all of the s10s that I've owned had some kind of high idle or a 4wd issue related to the vacuum lines and I could never find information on like a schematic explaining the entire vacuum system they don't sell kits that are cut to length so you always have to buy 20 some feet of vacuum line to replace all of them even then still couldn't find much info on what lines go where even clymer manuals didn't have much info I apriteate your channel and it has helped me tremendously thank you for the content
+TTR6 TTR1 Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Thanks Dude ! Good info.👍
My car is coming up on it's 12th anniversary in mid 2021, and I've only put 54k original miles on it. I have to imagine I need to follow some alternative maintenance schedule. I change the oil every year. I've had the transmission fluid changed, the valve cover gasket changed, the AC evap changed and all motor mounts changed. I also changed my own plugs and coils. I'm still rocking the original brake pads, brake fluid, power steering fluid, antifreeze(orange) and belt. I'm gonna have this Ford Focus forever!
+Sean Baker Thanks for the feedback!
Change the coolant. Trust me. Even sitting it can become acidic and eat gaskets internally. Every 5 ish years would be good.
Great Video! Thanks Brother!
My 98 v6 s10 was running like sheeeet. It would bog out almost turning of at any speed. Installed a new maf sensor runs like a champ no sputtering. How ever with the ac on it sputters and wants to big out any suggestions. Doing the spark plugs wires and distributor cap next
The air box on these vortex engines would sell really well as hamster houses at pet stores.
Thank you!
you guys are great

Does a chevy S10 have an air cabin filter? If yes, where is it located?
I need to replace my 3rd brake light unit for my o4 S10 .the bolts are in the cab behind the Dom light do I need pull back the interior to find the bolts .I can't one video to help me
Should mention the differences between green and orange coolants, how you should not mix them. I saw it done, it looks like it turns to peanut butter if you do.
Made the mistake mixing coolant colors now no longer have heat or AC , fear have to take dash pad of damper problem also thermistate heater core . Cheap pot medal adjusters on cloth bucket seats broke of both seats looked at wreaking yard all seam to brake seat adjustment mechanism.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the oil cooler lines which leak on everyone of these vehicles about every 20,000 miles
Yeah, I think my lines are leaking yet again! 😂
GR8 job…
Any chevy s10 videos
Be didn't mention what the power steering fluid is. Does anyone know?
Please help me. I have a second hand 2001 gmcsierra1500. The ignition has gone out I need to replace but I never received a n owners Manuel so I need video of how to take apartment and replace
+Tammie Lieurance We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
How can I get my truck featured on your show for repairs?
First thing I would do is clean that engine compartment.
+DPH Photography Thanks for the feedback!

You can join your local Facebook Civic page or pick up a copy of the Helm's manual, invest in some tools, and do it yourself! Lucky you, Civics are relatively simple to work on. I, on the other hand, have an older Prelude and I'm facing the issue of parts scarcity lol
I’m surprise she didn’t mention the oil cooler lines which leak on everyone of these vehicles about every 20,000 miles
Honestly having issues after 1k miles and might just find fittings and run soft hose for the whole system. Terrible design tbh. New rad, new lines. New cooling block, reman motor. Just shit design.
hey my truck
Hello How about the Cap & Rotor Genius 😂
30psi... Even though the door panel will say 35.
Also 100k for air filter? Wth? What magical place do you live in that you'd be able to have the filter last 100k?
He also said to replace it every year or so just because.
That things got a big leak underneath
Looks like my oil pan. Probably the bloody oil cooler lines.

Make sure your tetanus shots are up to date when inspecting a rusted out undercarriage car like this one.
The factory spark plugs on these trucks are platinum not iridium. This guy just makes up whatever bs he wants.
S-10'S WERE JUNK........
Big problem with the ZR-2 in this generation....seal failure between the auto trans and the transfer case...over time atf will migrate into the transfer case overfilling it and lowering the atf level in the trans....then when the 4-wheel drive is engaged atf will be pulled into the vacuum lines and into the four wheel drive actuators....piss poor design GM!
