@@jamiesdetailing I have the same habit on my channel lol (more carpet cleaning but I've been getting into detailing).
Hope you're feeling ok after that crazy garage painting accident 🙏

What I suggest with the pressure washer reel is to use the wireless remote and only click it on when you’re holding the gun, and then turn it off and let the pressure out with the gun so all the pressure doesn’t snap back into the reel and elbow if that makes sense .

Don’t let the reel hold pressure unless you’re holding the gun trigger down ^^

I have the remote and always depressurize the system when I’m finished I will try depressurizing it in between washing and rinsing and see if that helps extend the life a little as well.

@@MBV180this will probably help a lot now that I have thought about it more 😅 I think the biggest reason these reels go out is because of that initial buildup of pressure when you turn your unit on. I just don’t think the fittings are meant for 1500+ psi. And I think that the initial buildup is a little too much for the fittings to handle over long periods of time. 👊🏾 Appreciate you and your insight!

@@jamiesdetailing ya I agree. It’s like it can handle the pressure going out of the unit, it just cannot handle holding the pressure on stand by lol.

Thanks for showing us your detailing stuff. Can you go over the chemicals you use daily or just have on hands ?
