Your "Homestead" is a visual delight.
You will get a better crop of sweet corn if you grow it in a block rather than a row.
Those missing kernels are primary indicators of poor pollination. Since corn is wind pollinated you need a block of 10 rows × 10 rows to concentrate the pollen. The outer rows won't pollinate as well but the center "core" will benefit from shifting winds.

For sweetcorn - try growing them in a block/square rather than a line. They are wind pollinated and a block usually improves pollination

thinking about you all and praying for you! I am on my husbands account but I have to share I just had our 6th child (4th together as we met with a daughter each) after 5 girls we have had our son! it was a birth in our garden at the end of august after a thunderstorm, it was my most intense recovery! but what was such a blessing were your videos during the longer post partum days of resting and healing, thank you!! he is now almost 4 months and I check your page often to see how you are all adjusting to your end of pregnancy, birth and post partum. if you need care or suggestion or wool diaper covers let me know! would love to mail some from Sooke, Vancouver Island Canada. Omg wool diaper covers :D Having a hard time sitting on the computer and focusing on making video's , my brain is all into baby - parenting -preparation mode at the moment :p I feel like a whole new world is opening up. Haven't put making video's as a priority the last 6 months with more limited energy resources :( New video will come out soon though!
