- I recommend watching this video first for more of an explanation: • If Bakugou Was Mute | ...
BRO MY MOTIVATION MAKING THIS THOUGH- OML I TOOK SO MANY BREAKSSS. I also started reading something on Wattpad but couldn't continue it because I needed this done. 💔
More of an explanation of the whole "no sign language" thing: In my AU the some of teachers are roughly fluent in sign language (All Might, Nezu, Vlad King and Present Mic as for now), they can make some mistakes there and there. But the reason why Nezu doesn't want the teens to use it is because of possible traitor discussing (like the traitors discussing attacks and shit), teachers are informed whether a student is deaf or not and that's the only time you can uses sign language, if a student is deaf and can't afford/doesn't have hearing aids. Nezu wants to minimize the risk of talking about attacks on UA/possibly accusing someone of being the traitor. He knows he can't really stop the talk at all, but if some teachers haven't learnt enough sign language yet then in the classroom sign language can not be used. For example if Aizawa was teaching like he was in the video, the class couldn't use sign language because he wouldn't understand everything. However if Mic was teaching the class, they would be able to use sign language since he understands and will be able to point out if any traitor discussion is going on.

Love you all, have a great day! 💕💕 - Zábava
For reference! I am using ASL (in some scenes) in this video for "sign language", however in Japan they use JSL. I used ASL due to the fact that I highly doubt most people here know JSL, and most my viewers are watching from America so I thought it'd be better to use ASL since it's learnt more. Yes, I know both ASL and JSL, as well as two other sign languages (not fluent in all of them, but I know about 2000 signs in all of them apart from JSL).
(Sorry for replacing the previous pinned comment, I just feel like this needed to be addressed.)
I'm taking ASL currently in highschool to communicate to any and everyone, no one really deserves to be left in the dark (hearing, seeing and speaking wise)
I am really glad because I do not know JSL only ASL
Fun fact: the type mutism he has is selective mutism is a severe anxiety disorder where a person is unable to speak in certain social situations, such as with classmates at school or to relatives they do not see very often. It usually starts during childhood and, if left untreated, can persist into adulthood
Two of my siblings have it I think I have it but not as bad
@@Izzywolfygirl99my auntie has that.
Glad my severe anxiety isn’t as bad as this
I like how Bakugou and Deku have more of a friend relation ship instead of a super sappy lovey dovey one,
I like it it’s nice!
Yeah same!
Yeah I honestly think BakuDeku is a bit overrated and also very sexualized in most cases
@@saYONAkidoRIIagreed
About the disclaimer, I think that's completely fine I mean i once read a trilogy where one of the characters was mute and sometimes they communicated with eachother in sign language. Very handy when you're trapped in a giant's lair cause they decided to revoke your guest rights and you can't have them hear your escape plans.
XDXD yesyes, very handy indeed!!
I see you are talking about Magnus chase
Ooh Magnus chase fan I can see? (I remember that scene)
ok this is more than a meme it looks like a GCMM love dah vid
I meannn, I could make it into one. 👀

YESSS, I NEED MORE OF THIS AU, IT'S REALLY GOOD :,D💕✨
It was super nice to realize you tried to implement actual sign language into this, obviously it's hard as there are limited hand gestures in Gacha, but I love that there is actual ASL in it!
This video is amazing, keep up the great work!!
May aunt has autism and that causes her to loose all ability of proper speech (not mute but can't speak) so she uses sign language or a spelling board to talk. I was taught sign language from a VERY young age but as I grew I forgot most of it. I am currently taking a class to re-learn ASL so I can have a proper conversation with my aunt without my other aunt (her interpreter/sister) translating. It's definetely going to still be dificult as most of my family has visual issues that range from being completely blind, legally blind, in need of glasses, or even night blindness. One of my legally blind family members happens to be the aunt I'm learning ASL for so for that reason I am taking the class not just for her but for others with auditory disabilities. I find the idea of eventually owning a hotel and being able to sign to my guests, very interesting and plus, you can talk underwater to eachother if you use sign language! I don't think any place should ban using Sign language for any reason unless it is actively causing an issue. The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) has created many laws which actively work to allow those with disabilities to have the same opportinities as others and to be treated as equals to others. I'm still doing research so I'm not sure this encompasses all dissabilities, for example people with Dyslexia have issues reading, and while there are fonts created to help with this such as the Dyslexie font that's main purpose is to mitigate some of the issues faced by those with Dyslexia, many industries have other types of standard fonts such as Times New Roman. This means that those with Dyslexia are most likely going to have a harder time reading official documents if they get jobs within many industruies which if the ADA had covered this, then the universal standard font would be the Dyslexie font. Even as a person without Dyslexia I see how hard it is to read documents with the Times New Roman font and find it much easier to read with the Dyslexie font so I don't see an issue if the standard font was to be changed. I find it interesting that so many people are finally finding proper ways to represents those with certain conditions or disibilites! I still haven't seen much media coverace for many disibilities that I've seen, such as those with Albinism or Hypopignemtation, many misrepresent people with this condition and three of my aunts (one being the aunt who I'm learning ASL for) has this condition and they are all very capable of everything everyone else is with only their eyesight and looks being affected by this condition. Anyways, thank you this was a great video! I hope you all have a great day (or morning, afternoon, and night) as well.
my brother has autisum
Hello! I have a quick question.
I have autism but I'm still able to speak.
So may u explain why she can't and why I can.
I understand it may be because of different types but I want to know incase u have to get it checked out for her
*This is beautiful yet very sad...*
I know sign language and
that looked HELLA realistic!!!!!!
Amazing job!!!
Ah thank you! I know some sign language as I am also mute but still in the recovery process. ❤️
@@rinjou_
Oo I'm glad I've subbed to you!
I learned ASL for just the thought,
But now I have friends who are HOH/Deaf/mute!
this makes me sad cause one of my friends from school is mute and we pass notes so we can still talk and the teachers knew they were mute but one day we had a sub and the teacher had accidently left out that my friend was mute so i explained it to the teacher before class. so I had passed a note to my friend cause she had an answer to the question, the sub saw and called us out. i tried explaining it to the sub but we just got in trouble and sent to the principles office cause we were passing notes in class. i explained it to the principle and she understood and sent us back to class without a punishment. i then finally explained to the sub why we were passing notes and the sub apologized, of course we said it was fine cause it was a small misunderstanding.
also may i add this happened when i was in 6th grade and im much older now, me and my friend have are classes together so i can help them answer questions and communicate with others. i have had the sub multiple times and the sub remembers us and lets me and my friend pass notes to talk.
this goes to show not to jump to conclusions before asking that actually is happening. stay safe and healthy! :)
Ah, I remember when I was mute and I would get into trouble for not answering questions aloud to the class or something similar. But like *I could physically not speak.* My parents didn't know (because it was selective mutism) so I would speak at home sometimes, but just not in public. And then I had a really similar experience with the note passing thing.
I still am mute, but more in the recovery process now. Though sometimes I do feel like it's get worse. :')
@@rinjou_ the reason why we became friends was because they are mute and i have slight social anxiety. so we both didn't like speaking to people. i have gotten better with speaking in public but my friend still struggles so i try to speak for them when they need it.
Okay, I'm smiling but also crying. This is so beautiful.

Also me: who cry about something like this....
I like this au you should do more of it. its also a really good way for others to be more aware with people who have mutism or selective mutism
And this is why we love izuku
I love this ;w; so cute ♥️
😄👍
OMG YOU GOT A NEW SUB BEACAUSE OF THIS 🌟
BUT NOW... i want part 2 please! 🥺🥺🥺
When I was around 4 I used sign language, im not deaf just I wasn’t treated as good when I was about to be 1 but then I was adopted 2 days before my b-day, I didn’t rlly wanted to talk when I was around 4 (that what I was told by my mom and I call her my mom since she is technically the one who has been raising me), that’s why I learned sign language
I like how you try to actually sign it as much as you can in gacha instead of just waving hands around
"Bakugo and you are not deaf so you can't use it"
Bakugo: *can physically not talk* ._.
YEASSS
When Izu said that Kat is mute I tried to hold my tears back but I cant😭🤧
Ahhhhh I'm in love with this AU >w<
Also is he seeing the therapist? Is that why he's late? :0
One of the reasons is therapy, but he usually has it after school in my AU. ❤️

Then what's going on with bakubabyyyy 😭😭😭😭
Why is he sad with that question
Please don't tell me it's what I think it is 😭😭😭
@@ajchilli4385 What do you think it is? 👀

I don't like to word it out
But many already commented something like that
I honestly don't think mitsuki would do that
From the way bakugo said *"my mother was keeping me in"* ( something like that, I forgot )
I feel sad and happy
My heart is warmed, but I also feel like my stomach twisted
Why do I feel so vulnerable right now.
Welp it's fine
This is beautiful keep up the good work!

the explanation makes sence but they really done forgotten mute
YES I SAW THIS BUT THEN MY CZcams REFRESHED SO I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS
This is so cool, as someone learning Asl at the moment, I notice how similar the hand movements are to actual sign!
Ok I just wanna say how much I love this au I need to see more of this 🤩🤩😍😍🥺🥺🥺
This is so gooddddddd
Part 2? 👀✨
Part 3 PLEASEEEE!!! I really love this storryyyyyyyy
My 9 year old sister is learning ASL. I find it so cool. She can already form pretty basic sentences amd is continuing to learn!
I love it
I don't always feel up to talking and I know how it feels to be the only one using ASL so one of my friends uses ASL so I don't feel excluded and it makes me feel wayyyy better it's nice to bring this to others attention and I've never gotten in trouble for using ASL even when I still talk sometimes just not all the time
I’m pretty sure that there is quite a lot of people that forgets being mute exists so this made me cry but I’m not sure if this is true😅😢
Oww is so cute!!! Pls do the next
*sign language activated* I'm about to throw mitsuki off a roof bakugou's reaction was bad

My Arabic teacher:STOP THROWING AROUND GANG SIGNS AND TALK
My mute friend: 🤨
Mute bakugou is kind 🥸
It’s adorable XD
I know it’s late but can I have a pin plz🥺🥺
we all love some mha
Them signing in gacha was kind accurate when he signed “Why” I noticed that the creator tried to make it accurate.
Yup! I learnt some of ASL quite a bit ago so I tried to implement it in some of the video at least. I thought it'd be a lot better than just doing random hand movements for every sentence/word (ofc I didn't do it for everything since it's a bit time consuming, but I still wanted to have some 'accurate' ASL in here). :))
first off, absolutely love the video :] it's really really cool and well made.
second, the view of sign in the video may seem far-fetched and unrealistic, but as someone who is mute, this does happen and it really sucks. lots of people get this idea in their head that only deaf people can use sign language, and it sucks when people are confused that i can hear but use asl. they just don't grasp the concept of mute people using things other than writing to communicate. :[
It really does suck, I've been mute for about 5 years so I understand the pain. :')
