- I finally get the motor soldered into the 1/32 scale slot stox car in this episode. I have also been busy with some chassis modifications. In this episode you can also see how I set up the gear mesh and maintain the correct backlash.

Nice tip on burr remove of axle tubing. Thanks.
Another great "Tech Tips" video. When I am making axle spacers I slip the brass tube over a axle and secure in place with a drop of superglue. Then place the axle in a the chuck of a electric drill.Then hold a file against the brass tube as I power up the electric drill. A bit of heat will then allow the brass to be slid free of the axle.

sloting plus make some nice axle collars that you could use instead.
I didn’t think they did 1/8” collars but I will take a look. Thanks.
@@CleaveTech my bad. They make 3mm collars (i use them) but it should be pretty easy to drill them out to 1/8"
