Hi mr.Chad
Could it be possible for you to help me answer these questions?
1. I have a question about changing the stress in a sentence, for example the word "people", I have heard many people raise their voice on the second syllable. Don't know if I'm right.
2. I've heard people talk about the tip of raising the voice at commas, and lowering the voice at periods. But if there is a function word at the end of the sentence, should I lower my tone on that word?
3. When I finish a phrase and I pause for a moment before saying the other phrase, do I need to raise my voice at the end of that phrase?
4. In some sentences, the word "have" is a verb that means "to own sth", why do they lower their voice when saying this word?
5. When function words stand next to each other, for example noun + verb + adverb + (plural) noun, do I have to keep my voice steady without rising or falling throughout this phrase?
Thank you
nice!
