Hi!! New therian here but long time artist, if you're trying to make something that lasts PLEASE refrain from using cardboard, I know it's cheap but it will not last. Other materials you can use is Upholstery foam, Craft foam, EVA foam, clay, cardstock (basically very thick paper) resin, canvases. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
When I came out to mine they didn’t really care my mom thought it was weird in the start but I eventually started getting supported❤ So if you ask your mom hey mom will you support me no matter what?❤ yes = you say promise? And then you come out and say I hope you can support me❤ give her a tight hug and then your done😊

I have a friend who came out as therian on April Fools Day so if her mom didn't support she could say April Fools
