  • Adding some tool and essentials storage to the CRF450RL/CRF450L with nothing more than a basic Tusk fender pack. Do you carry a tool kit? What do you throw in there? Let us know!

Some additional items I've thought to add since filming:
    - small duct tape roll
    - 10mm hex key (this is used a lot around the engine)
    - 7mm open wrench (for a specific mod not yet seen, but will!)
    - Owners manual
Some items that frequently find their way into the handlebar pack:
    - keys
    - gopro batteries
    - snacks

@lexdfox , I always. Carry a spare spark plug and plug socket(most motorcycles use something strange deep or thin wall. CRF450’s included). Mostly in case I drop it in a water crossing.

I too used to put complete sets of things in my tool roll - because they were bought as complete sets and looked shiny and nice. Set of Allen wrenches. Set of spanners. Set of sockets. Then I saw the light and took out all the sizes that I didn't need (dump that 1.5mm Allen wrench!). Spoilt the look of the set but the weight saving was massive. Then I worked out what fasteners demanded particular tools, such as my 17mm side stand nut - I can't get a socket onto it because the spring is in the way so that socket stays at home in the tool drawer. Neither can I get a ring spanner onto it, so that stays at home too. Only an open ended spanner works. Similarly, I can't get a 13mm socket or ring spanner on my rear sprocket nuts because the spokes are in the way, so only the open ended gets into the tool kit. And so it goes on.

Regarding the tube fix. Those are indeed literally the thinfs you need. 1x dual axle wrench, 2x tire lever and a littel patch kit, maybe some lube

I got a CRF450L last year and love the bike. Love your channel too, keep putting out crf450l videos, they will never get old. Keep up the good content, your chancel is underrated!

      Hell yeah! Thank you!

Another great addition to your bike. The only other suggestion I would make if I'm taking a long journey is inner tubes, patch kit, spoons, CO2 inflator. Eric

I would never do no holes in my motorcycle's plastic pieces! There's always be another way to place things!

Like where? The fender pack is secured with bolts through holes...

@@lexdfox Actually there is tail rack luggage mount on the market you might get especially for your bike, instead making holes on it. Imo it looks more professional and keeps your bike more original.

True, not waterproof. Thankfully there's no water in Southern California.

    Constructive criticism:
    lose the background noise.
The subject & your narration of it is great! The addition of distracting, monotonous & annoying music ruined the vid.
