Since the cake mix is sweet what about using 2 cups of lemon juice? I’ve got 2 boxes of birthday cake mix and I would make 2 different ones like a Granny Smith one and a s strawberry/blueberry one
I’m not sure if using lemon juice instead would make it turn out the same . Maybe you could add a little lemon juice with it to balance out the sweetness
This isn't a Cobbler. Cobbler has thick doughy not cake-y texture. More like a biscuit dough. This is a dump cake. I love both but its crazy when people call this cobbler..... Why? Why not just call it what it is. 7UP Dump cake
The recipe is super easy so thanks for this. But the butter or sprite, in this case sprite, just never works right for me. Too many spots of raw powder I have to blow off. Idk. I poured it on every inch of it. Seemed bubbly and covered, but doesn't work completely. Any tips for making it work better. I'm thinking in future I may just make wet batter and pour it lightly over the blueberries? Otherwise this wasn't too bad. Will do with cherries next time.
Trying cherries sounds delicious! I love cherries , I have dry spots too , maybe next time when you put the sprite or butter, depending what recipe you’re making, get a spoon or fork and give it a little mix before baking, I’m going to be doing a remake video of my quick and easy peach cobbler recipe and I’m going to be putting melted butter on top and I’m gonna give it a little mix before I put it in the oven and see if that helps.

Used a box of Betty crocker cake mix and it looks like way too much cake mix. Do I use an entire box of cake mix?
